Door sensors: Remove the white baery protecon at the back of the sensor
by pulling it.
Moon detector (if included): Insert the baeries (included with the product).
Please assure correct polarity.
a. Arrange the door sensors such that the magnet is on the right-hand side
of each sensor. The lile triangles on the middle of the sides of the sensor
and the magnet cannot be more than 8 mm apart. Posion them so that
they are facing each other.
Deacvate the X1 Siren using the Deacvaon buon on the remote
control( ). Now, mount the X1 Siren and door sensors following the
instrucons in the manual.
Once all components are mounted, acvate the system: Select the “S”
buon on the remote control to choose the loud siren sound. Now, to
acvate your system, press the Acvaon buon.
How to mount the X1 alarm unit
Mount the X1 alarm unit with the included scky pads or the two included
screws. First, install the back plate to the wall. Posion the X1 unit onto the
back plate and secure it to the backplate with the screw at the boom.
Switch On/Off
Press the On/Off buon on the X1 for 5 seconds to switch the unit on or off.
When switching on, you will hear one short beep, and the LEDs will light-up from
top to boom. When switching the X1 off, you will hear one long beep sound,
and the LEDs will dim from the boom to the top. When the X1 is switched on,
it will be in the same state (acve or deacvated) as it was when it was
switched off.
Acvang the system
On the X1 siren: short press the SET buon. On the remote control: press the
Actvaon-buon. You will hear one beep as a confirmaon that the system is
acvated.
Indicaon that the system is acvated
The X1 features an indicator light that shows if the system is acve or not. When
the system is acvated, the LED of zone 4 flashes every 5 seconds as an indicaon.
To switch off the indicator light , whilst in acvated mode, press the SET buon
for 5 seconds. You will hear one beep, and the indicator light is switched off. To
switch on the indicator light again, repeat the above-described procedure.
b. Press the Acvaon buon ( ) on the remote control to arm the X1 Siren.
You hear a short beep accompanied by one brief flash of the LEDs.
c. Now move the magnet away from the first
sensor. You hear the doorbell-sound, and
the red light on the sensor will light up.
Repeat this procedure for all other door
sensors.

Posion the moon detector with the detecon window facing
downwards (to avoid that it detects anything)
Moon detector (PIR kits only): Wave your hand approximately
50 cenmetres in front of the moon detector. You hear a doorbell-sound,
and the detecon window of the sensor will light up.
The "S" buon on the remote control is used to switch from the
doorbell-sound (2 different volumes) to siren sound. Cover the siren to
avoid damaging your hearing. Press the "S" buon of the remote control
unl you hear the doorbell-sound ("Ding-Dong").
