The Dune Collection

Named after Aquitaine’s Dune du Pilat, Europe’s tallest sand dune,

the three-watch Dune Collection pairs elegant design with the rugged

do-anything ability of a eld watch.

The C65 Dune Automatic, GMT and Bronze COSC models have all been

designed to accompany your most challenging expeditions in comfort

and style – whether you’re crossing a desert or just navigating the

morning commute.

The 38mm Light-catcher™ case is designed to t almost any wrist, while

the exquisite nish of the dial, indexes and hands is typically Christopher

Ward. The Dune is also the rst CW watch to host an applied twin-ags

logo, while the domed crystal adds a vintage look that recalls sports

watches of the 1960s and ’70s.

Christopher Ward CEO Mike France describes the Dune as a watch for

weekends that’s happy to dress up for the week.

The middle of the 20th century is rightly considered the golden era for

sports, eld and dive watches.

A time when newly-untamed design came face to face with

improvements in watchmaking and engineering.

And a period which is celebrated in your beautiful C65 Dune Bronze

COSC.

Sitting halfway between a tool watch and luxury timepiece (just

check the nishing on that gorgeous sunray dial), it’s as at home on

the morning commute as it is out in the wilds at the weekend. And

because it’s a chronometer, it’ll deliver super-accurate timekeeping

wherever you wear it.

Famously, bronze changes over time, developing a one-o protective

patina through its exposure to the air. So the longer you own the

C65 Dune Bronze COSC, the more it’ll become uniquely yours.

How to operate your C65 Dune Bronze COSC

For a superior water resistance your crown is of the screw-down

type. The crown should sit ush to the case (position 1) in order

to maintain water resistance.

• First unscrew the crown anti-clockwise from the case to position

2for winding in power. Wind in a clockwise direction to re-power

the watch. Your C65 Dune Bronze COSC has a maximum power

reserve of 38 hours when fully wound.

• Pull gently into position 3. For rapid date correction, turn in a

clockwise direction.

• Pull gently into position 4. This position is used for handsetting

and stopping of the seconds hand. For precise time setting it is

recommended to pass beyond the desired minute and to set the

hand backwards.

Setting the time and date

PLEASE NOTE:

Date correction should not be carried out between 20.00 hr and

02.00 hr as the watch gearing will already be aligning itself to

change the date. The crown should always be pushed in after

adjustment, and it is best to do so from position 3to avoid

advancing beyond the desired date. You must always ensure the

crown is fully tightened before any use in water.
