C3 Malvern Chronograph Mk III

One of our rst launches, the original C3 Malvern Chronograph

was inspired by the dashboard dial of an Aston Martin. In the Mk III,

that inspiration remains, but it has been revisited and reimagined

through the prism of Senior Designer Adrian Buchmann’s new

design language.

Let’s begin with the case: a signature new design created by

Buchmann, its smooth contours are enhanced by the use of brushed

and polished surfaces to create a watch that will sit discreetly on the

wrist. Details such as the twin-ag decorated crown and backplate,

and brushed and polished hands, all invite further delectation; V

shaped machining on the dial remembers the two-piece nish of

the Mk I.

It may be a dress watch, but with features including piston-inspired

pushers, there are signs of the C3’s aforementioned motorsport

DNA. But its implementation is as understated as you might expect;

this is a watch that understands the subtlety and renement

associated with its English roots.

Add the best materials and a commitment to superb build quality –

courtesy of our Swiss atelier – and the C3 Malvern Chronograph

Mk III redenes what you should expect from a watch of this price.

How to operate your C3 Malvern Chronograph Mk III

PLEASE NOTE: Date correction should not be carried

out between 20.00 hr and 02.00 hr as the watch

gearing will already be aligning itself to change the

date. The crown should always be pushed in after

adjustment, and it is best to do so from position 3

to avoid advancing beyond the desired date.

The crown should sit ush to the case (position 1)

in order to maintain water resistance.

• For rapid date correction pull gently into position 2

and turn in a clockwise direction

• For setting the time pull gently into position 3

and turn clockwise to advance the time.

• For precise time setting it is recommended to pass

beyond the desired minute and to set the hand

backwards. Push the crown back to position 1.

the time, reset the chronograph

hands to their original position.

See the Reset section to set the

counters to zero.

A once more and read the

two chronograph counters, for

example: 10 mins / 8 seconds.

How to operate your C3 Malvern Chronograph Mk III

If one, or several, chronograph

hands are not in their correct

zero positions they will need to

be adjusted:

• Pull the crown gently into

position

(all three chronograph

hands are in their correct or

incorrect zero position) position.

• Keep push-buttons A and

B depressed simultaneously

for at least 2 seconds (the

centre stop-second hand

rotates by 360°, corrective

mode is activated).
