C60 Lympstone

Congratulations on becoming the owner of a C60 Lympstone.

Ocially approved by the UK Ministry Of Defence, the watch is

named after the Royal Marines’ Commando Training Centre in

Devon. And is a tting – and feature-packed – tribute to one of

the world’s most respected ghting forces.

Built for the most testing of conditions, the dial is constructed in

ultra-tough, ultra-light forged carbon – a material made from

chopped carbon bres infused with resin (there are around 500,000

bres per square inch).

The C60 Lympstone also boasts a rst for Christopher Ward: the

inclusion of a rotating inner-compass bezel which lets you orientate

yourself using the sun. And because this is a watch inspired by the

Royal Marines, it’s also waterproof to 600m.

Of course, a timepiece this special needs a movement of the highest

order. That’s why powering the C60 Lympstone is a chronometer

version of Sellita’s SW200 – a calibre that puts it in the top six

percent of all Swiss-made watches for accuracy.

All these qualities mean the C60 Lympstone will be your trusty

companion wherever, and however, you go. Or as the Royal Marines

motto, laser-engraved onto the back of the timepiece, says:

‘Per mare, per terram’ – by sea, by land.

Your C60 Lympstone has a maximum power reserve of 38 hours

when fully wound. To re-power the watch after a period of non-use,

simply wind the crown for approximately 20 revolutions. Normal

wearing will very quickly allow the rotor to start re-powering the

watch over time after putting it on your wrist.

How to operate your C60 Lympstone

For a superior water resistance your crown is of the screw-in type.

The crown should sit ush to the case (position 1) in order to

maintain water resistance.

• First unscrew the crown anti-clockwise from the case to position

2for winding in power. Wind in a clockwise direction to re-power

the watch. Your C60 Lympstone has a maximum power reserve of

38 hours when fully wound. Normal wearing will allow the rotor to

start re-powering the watch over time after putting on your wrist.

After a period of non-use we recommend that you manually wind

the watch at least 20 times to ensure there is sucient power in

the watch before the rotor maintains the power.

• Pull gently into position 3. This position is used for handsetting

and stopping of the seconds hand. For precise time setting it is

recommended to pass beyond the desired minute and to set the

hand backwards.
