Welcome! Lets get started.

FIRST!

To start using your NVR, you need the following:

1) A high-definition TV capable of displaying 720p

or 1080p video. Look at the ports on the back of

your TV to make sure it has an HDMI input.

2) A router with a broadband Internet connec-

tion.

3) A mobile device (Android or iOS) to download

the free SwannView Link app.

Carefully unpack each item and discard any

packaging not required.

Congratulations on the purchase of your Swann NVR. This Quick Start Guide will assist you on getting your NVR up and

running as soon as possible. To make sure nothing was damaged during shipping, we recommend that you connect

everything and give it a try before you do a permanent installation.

1 & 7) Antenna Socket: The supplied antennas connect

here. The antenna communicates with the supplied

cameras and it can also connect to your Wi-Fi network.

2) Ethernet Port: Connect this to your router so your NVR

can connect to the Internet (required for AP mode).

3) Audio Out Port: For connecting to a stereo or amplifier.

This is not required when using the HDMI port.

4) VGA Port: Connect this to your monitor with a VGA input

(VGA cable not supplied). This is not required when using

the HDMI port.

5) HDMI Port: Connect this to your TV with a HDMI input

(HDMI cable supplied).

6) USB Ports: Connect the mouse here. You can also

connect a storage device such as a USB flash drive to copy

recorded events or to perform a firmware upgrade.

8) Power Port: Connect the DC 12V power adapter here.

9) Power LED: Indicates your NVR has power.

10) Hard Drive LED: Will flash when the hard drive is

working.

equipment.Thisdevicecomplieswithpart15oftheFCC Rules.Operation

is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause

harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference

received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

What does this mean?

1) Located at the rear of your NVR are two antenna sockets.

There is also a single antenna socket at the rear of each

camera.

2) As there are several antennas provided, use the two

longer versions for your NVR and the shorter versions for

each camera.

3) Turn the antenna in a clockwise motion to connect.

Don’t use excessive force when connecting as it just needs

a firm connection to fasten (tools should not be required).

Leave the antennas in a vertical position for best reception.

Step One: Installing the Antennas

1) Connect the Power Output on the Power Cable to the

Power Input on your camera. Repeat this step for each
