150W Explosion Proof LED Light Fixture

13,000 Lumens - 50' Cord - Adjustable Magnet Base

Instruction Manual

This explosion proof light is designed for illumination of industrial locations. It uses the latest in

solid state lighting technology for long life, low maintenance and high efficiency.

The unique design focuses the light where it is needed, giving improved efficiency over a

conventional HID luminaire.

An internal, universal input, power-factor-corrected switch-mode supplyallowsit to be used from

any nominal120-277V AC 50/60 Hz power supplywithout any variation in light output.Low voltage

11-25V AC/DC model available as an option as well.

WARNING

To avoidthe risk of fire, explosion or electric shock, this product should be installed, inspected

and maintained by a qualified electricianonly, in accordancewith all applicableelectrical codes.

To avoid electric shock:

Be certain electrical power is OFF before and during installation and maintenance.

Luminaire must be connected to a wiring system with an equipment-grounding conductor.

To avoid explosion:

Make sure the supply voltage is within the luminaires’ voltage rating.

Ensure the marked T rating is less than the ignition temperature of the Hazardous

Atmosphere.

Do not operate in ambient temperatures above those indicated on the luminaire nameplate.

Do not operate if the lens is cracked or damaged. All fasteners should be properly seated.

For supplyconnections, use wire rated for at least 110°C

MAGNETIC MOUNTING

The magnetic mounting bracket includes eight 100lbs grip magnets for mounting to metal surfaces.

The magnets are arranged in groups of two via adjustable brackets allowing operators to match the

curvature of tank walls or other curved surfaces.

Simply adjust the magnets as needed and attach to a metal surface capable of holding the weight of

the light. The magnetic brackets can be loosened at the adjustment points for easier maneuvering

while mounting.

To adjust the light head vertically, loosen the hand screws on either side. Once the desired angle is

achieved, tighten both hand screws to secure the light in place.

This bracket system is constructed of non-sparking aluminum for light weight and durability. The

simple swing hinge design allows operators to easily adjust the lamp assembly to position the unit as

a pedestal lamp if desired.

WIRING (see attached wiring diagram)

This unit comes preconfigured with selected cord cap, voltage, and beam angle. Once mounted, plug

cord into compatible receptacle with correct voltage as listed on fixture nameplate.

MAINTENANCE

Caution: To avoid personal injury, disconnect power to the light and allow the unit to cool

down before performing maintenance.

Warning: No user serviceable parts inside of fixture. Risk of electric shock. Removal of the lens

will void the warranty.

1. Perform visual, mechanical and electrical inspections on a regular basis. We recommend

routine checks to be made on a yearly basis. Frequency of use and environment should

determine this. It is recommended to follow an Electrical Preventive Maintenance Program

as described in NFPA 70B: Recommended practice for Electrical Equipment.

2. The lens should be cleaned periodically as needed to ensure continued photometric

performance. Clean the lens with a damp, non-abrasive, lint-free cloth. If not sufficient, use

mild soap or a liquid cleaner.

3. Inspect the cooking fins on the luminaire to ensure that they are free of any obstructions

or contamination (i.e. excessive dust build-up). Clean with a non-abrasive cloth if

needed.

4. Do not operate if the lens is cracked or damaged. All fasteners should be properly seated.
