INSTALLATION

CONNECTIONS

CAUTION:

Use

only

one

input

each

amplifier

channel

time.

The

KAV-500

shipped

with

shorting

pins

the

XLR

inputs.

These

pins

should

remain

the

XLR

inputs

you

are

operating

KAV-500

channel

the

single-ended

mode.

When

the

shorting

inserted,

pins

one

and

three

are

shorted

together.

The

shorting

pins

must

removed

connect

KAV-500

channel

for

balanced

operation.

The

assignments

for

the

XLR

connectors

are:

Inverting

input

Power

power

switch

KAV-500

power

supply

incorporates

slow

start

protection

circuit

that

prevents

excessive

current

from

reaching

audio

circuitry

upon

initial

turn

on.

light

will

illuminate.

panel

remote

control.

POWER

OUT

AND

TRIGGER)

The

KAV-500

equipped

with

output

that

sends

VDC

power

on/off

(12

trigger)

signals

other

KRELL

components

and

input

that

recognizes

VDC

power

on/off

signals

from

other

KRELL

components

and

devices

that

incorporate

trigger.

This

allows

the

remote

turning

and

off

the

KAV-500

with

the

power

activation

KRELL

component

and

with

other

components

used

custom

installation.

CONFIGURATION

CHANGES

The

modular

screws

chassis

components
