Attaching power tools
NOTE: Carefully read thepower tool’s safety instructions and instruction manual before mounting it onto
thestand. Alwaysunplug/remove thebattery of thepower tool before attaching it to thestand.
1. Prepare thepower tool for transportation; lock thesaw head, etc.
2. Mountthequick-release mounting brackets (3) onto thealuminium track rail. Hookthefixed part
of thebracket over therear of therail and then fit thelocking handle side onto thefront of therail.
Pushthelever down to lock thebracket in place. Followthesame procedure with theother bracket.
Note:The locking handles should be adjusted so that they hold onto therail securely. Adjustthelocking
mechanism using theadjustment screw on theinside of each bracket.
3. Position thepower tool over themounting brackets (L), and slide thebrackets until their holes are aligned
with thepower tool’s mounting holes. Pass coach bolts (or other appropriate bolts) up through theslots
in themounting brackets and themounting holes in thepower tool from underneath, pass awasher over
theend of each bolt and then fasten each bolt with anut. On some saws, there can be limited space for
thefront coach bolts when thesaw is turned, in this case thebolts should be inserted through theslots from
above and thewashers and nuts fastened underneath. Forpower tools with asymmetrical hole patterns use
anadaptor plate (our art. no 40-7962).
