PERFORMANCE DATA SHEET
Model VPC5000 & Model VP5000
This system has been tested by WQA according to NSF/ANSI 42 and 53 for the reducon of the substances
listed below. The concentraon of the indicated substances in water entering the system was reduced to a
concentraon less than of equal to the permissible limit for water leaving the system, as specied in NSF/
ANSI 42 and 53. While tesng was performed under standard laboratory condions, actual performance
may vary. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate
disinfecon before or aer the system. Systems cered for cyst reducon may be used on disinfected
waters that may contain lterable cysts.
Stage One — Filtraon Process:
The VeriPure Maintenance Kit- Consists of a two lter conguraon that is a proprietary design of VeriPure, Inc. The rst lter
is a sediment lter that greatly reduces suspended and parculate maer from the incoming water source. The second lter
(a carbon block lter for cyst removal, lead and chlorine reducon) greatly reduces free chlorine and cysts from the water
source to disinfect and improve the taste and odor of the water.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE INSTALLING
1. YOUR VERIPURE® SYSTEM IS DESIGNED TO BE USED WITH COLD WATER ONLY.
2. NEVER RUN WARM OR HOT WATER THROUGH YOUR VERIPURE® SYSTEM AS HOT WATER
CAN DAMAGE THE CARBON BLOCK FILTER.
3. WATER TEMPERATURES ABOVE 90° F CANNOT CONTAIN DISSOLVED OZONE; THUS
ELIMINATING DISINFECTION. WATER TEMPS APPROACHING 85° F REQUIRE LONGER
PERIODS OF CONTACT TIME FOR DISINFECTION PURPOSES.
4. FOR OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE , LIMIT YOUR VERIPURE® SYSTEM TO 70 PSI OF WATER
PRESSURE. VERIPURE® RECOMMENDS A MINIMUM WATER PRESSURE OF 50 PSI. LOW
WATER PRESSURE WILL CAUSE YOUR VERIPURE® SYSTEM TO PRODUCE A LOWER
QUANTITY OF FILTERED AND OZONATED WATER.
5. POWER REQUIREMENTS ARE 120 VAC 60 HZ. USE AC ADAPTER PROVIDED WITH YOUR
SYSTEM.
NOTE: VERIPURE® UNITS ARE DESIGNED TO BE UNDER CONTINUAL WATER PRESSURE WHEN
INSTALLED AND NOT IN USE, THE ON/OFF VALVE AND OR FAUCET SHOULD BE ON THE
OUTLET OF THE VERIPURE AT OR BETWEEN THE POU AND VERIPURE® UNIT. THIS ENSURES
PROPER FUNCTION ON THE VERIPURE® .
