installation requirements

LBE-5AC-LR Quick Start Guide

Phillips screwdriver

Category 5 (or higher) shielded cabling with a drain wire must be used for all

Ethernet connections and must be connected to the AC ground of the PoE.

Surge protection must be used on all outdoor installations. We recommend

that you use two surge protectors, model ETH-SP, one near the LiteBeam

and the other at the entry point of the building. The ETH-SP will absorb surge

voltages and safely discharge them to the ground.
