The intended use of this product is to provide warmth
to people. The product includes an infrared heating
element and a li-ion battery. The battery can be charged
via the included magnetic USB cable.
WARNING: Read this manual carefully
before you start to enjoy the heat.
• Only use a certied 5V USB wall charger with 2A
current or more.
• Using a dierent charger may cause irreparable
damage to the product, the environment and can be
dangerous.
• Use with caution and common sense.
• Do not use if you are over- or insensitive to heat.
• Do not let children under 8 years use this product
without supervision.
• Keep the product away from equipment that gene-
rates heat.
• Protect the product against water and other uids.
• Store the product inside.
• Check the product for damage before use.
• Do not use, if the product or battery is damaged.

• Do not incinerate the product or the battery.

Instructions for use
Stoov® Smartlabel
Charging
Connect the magnetic connector of the charging cable to
the backside of the Stoov® Smartlabel. Connect the
charging cable to the USB wall charger.
The charging indicator light indicates the charging status,
when the charging cable is correctly attached:
• The light is blinking = The battery is charging and/or
the product is in use.
• The light is on = The battery is full and the product is
not in use.
Disconnect the charging cable and unplug the wall mount
from the socket, when the battery is fully charged. Please
note, the total charging time depends on the capacity of
the USB wall charger. See technical specications for the

charging time of this product.
IMPORTANT: Only use original Stoov®
battery and charger to guarantee an optimal
and safe performance.
Heating
Turn on the heat by pushing the power button. The
product has 3 heat levels:
• 1 heating indicator light - Low (28-32°C)
• 2 heating indicator lights - Mid (35-39°C)
• 3 heating indicator lights - High (38-42°C)
The actual perceived temperatures may vary due to the
ambient temperature and to the used fabrics in your
clothes.
Auto-o
The product is equipped with an auto-o timer. The
product shuts down automatically after 8 hours of use.
Overheat protection
Each product is equipped with an overheating protection
thermostat. The thermostat will temper the heat gene-
ration temporarily, when the actual temperature in the
heating element becomes too high. In some cases, you
can hear a soft “pop” when this happens. This is normal.
Battery
The product is equipped with a rechargeable li-ion bat-
tery. Connect the battery to the battery cable and place
the battery in the pocket. We recommend to fully charge
the battery for the rst time.
Hold the power button in the Stoov® Smartlabel for 2
seconds to check the battery status. In the next 5
seconds, the lights display the charge of the battery:
• 3 lights = 70-100% charged
• 2 lights = 30-70% charged
• 1 light = 0-30% charged
The battery can be replaced. Disconnect the battery
from the inner cushion and replace it with a new battery.
Only use an original battery supplied by Stoov®. Using
a dierent battery may cause irreparable damage to the
product, the environment and can be dangerous.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Switch o the product and remove the outer cover. Clean
the outer cover according to the washing instructions on
the care label. Make sure to protect the inner cushion
and all electronic parts against water. Do not wash the
inner cushion.
Storing
Disconnect the battery in the product, if it is not used for
a long time.
Troubleshooting
My product is not working. No lights are showing on the
label and there is no heating, when I push the power button.
Check if the battery isn’t damaged.
1. Check that the battery is connected.
2. Disconnect and reconnect the battery to the inner
cushion.
3. The battery could be empty. Charge the battery
according to the instructions above.
My product will not charge anymore.
1. Try another USB wall charger to check if the USB wall
charger is working properly.
2. Visually inspect the charging cable for any damage.
Replace the charging cable, if it is damaged.
My battery is properly attached and charged. However my
product is still not working: no lights, no heat.
To nd out if there is a malfunction in the battery or in
the heating element, follow the next steps:
1. Disconnect the battery from the inner cushion.
2. Connect the charging cable to the charging connector
on the backside of the Stoov® Smartlabel.
3. Push the power button to turn on the heating to
check if the product heats up without the battery
attached.
If the inner cushion heats up, we suspect there is a
malfunction in the battery. Contact Stoov® or an ocial
distributor to get the battery replaced under warranty
within the rst year of purchase date. Replacement bat-
teries can be ordered on stoov.com or through an ocial
Stoov® distributor.
My product shows heating indicator lights, but there is no
heating.
1. Push the power button for 8 seconds.
2. Connect the charging cable to the charging
connector on the backside of the Stoov® Smartlabel.
3. Push the power button to turn on the heating on the
highest heating level.
If there is still no heating after 5 minutes, we suspect
there is a malfunction in the inner heating cushion. Con-
tact Stoov® or an ocial distributor for a repair or
replacement under warranty within two years of the
purchase date.

The product contains electronics which cannot be
replaced by the end user and shall only be replaced by
the manufacture, his service agent or a similar qualied
person.
CE-directive
This product complies with the requirements and
other relevant provisions of the current European RoHS
and CE directives 2014/30/EU, 2014/35/EU and 2011/65/
EU.
WEEE instruction
This product is subject to the provisions of the
WEEE directive 2012/19/EU. Do not dispose of the
product together with regular household waste. Consult
your local waste disposal authorities for information on
collecting points for electronic waste products.
Terms of guarantee
We warrant our products sold to be free from defects in
material and workmanship for two years from the date
of purchase. For wear parts like the battery and fabric,
we warrant a period of one year after the purchase date.
NOTE: Changes or modications which are not
explicitly approved by the party responsible
for compliance may void the user’s authoriza-
tion to use the equipment.
Contact Stoov® or an ocial distributor, if the problem
persists or if other problems occur. Never attempt to
repair the product yourself.

you have any other problems.

Gebruikershandleiding
Stoov® Smartlabel
Opladen
Klik het magnetische deel van de oplader aan de achter-
zijde van het Stoov® Smartlabel. Verbind de oplader met
de USB-oplader.
Indien de oplader correct is bevestigd, geeft het indicatie-
lampje de laadstatus aan:
• Het lampje knippert: De batterij wordt opgeladen en/
of het product is in gebruik.
• Het lampje is aan: De batterij is volledig opgeladen en
het product is niet in gebruik.
Ontkoppel de oplader van de USB-oplader en haal de
stekker uit het stopcontact wanneer het product volledig

opgeladen is. Let op: de volledige oplaadtijd is afhankelijk
van de capaciteit van de USB-oplader. Meer informatie
onder technische specicaties.
BELANGRIJK: Gebruik uitsluitend de originele
Stoov® batterij en oplader om een optimale
prestatie en veiligheid te kunnen garanderen.
Verwarming
Schakel de verwarming in door op de aan/uit-knop te
drukken. Het product heeft drie warmte-niveau’s:
• 1 indicatielampje - Laag (28-32°C)
• 2 indicatielampjes - Medium (35-39°C)
• 3 indicatielampjes - Hoog (38-42°C)
De daadwerkelijke temperatuur kan variëren door hoge
of lage omgevingstemperaturen en de dikte van de kle-
ding van de gebruiker.
Auto-uitschakeling
Het product heeft een automatische uitschakeling. Het
product schakelt automatisch uit na 8 uur in gebruik
geweest te zijn.
Oververhitting en beveiliging
Elk product is voorzien van een thermostaat die beveiligt
tegen oververhitting. De thermostaat reduceert de tem-
peratuurregulering tijdelijk wanneer de actuele
temperatuur in het warmte-element te hoog wordt. In
sommige gevallen is een zacht, ploend geluid hoorbaar.
Batterij
Het product bevat een oplaadbare li-ion batterij. Plaats
de batterij in het batterij vakje en verbind de batterij met
de batterijkabel. We raden aan om de batterij voor het
eerste gebruik volledig op te laden.
Druk de aan/uit-knop op de Stoov® Smartlabel 2
seconden in om de batterijstatus te raadplegen. In de
opvolgende 5 seconden zal het indicatielampje de batte-
rijstatus aangeven:
• 3 lampjes = 70-100% charged
• 2 lampjes = 30-70% charged
• 1 lampje = 0-30% charged
De batterij kan vervangen worden. Ontkoppel de batterij
van het binnenkussen en vervang hem met de nieu-
we batterij. Gebruik uitsluitend een originele Stoov®
batterij. Het gebruik van een andere batterij kan gevaar
en blijvende schade aan het product en de omgeving
veroorzaken.
Onderhoud
Reinigen
Schakel het product uit en verwijder de kussenhoes. Was

de kussenhoes vervolgens volgens de wasvoorschriften
op het aangehechte label. Zorg er voor dat het binnen-
kussen en alle elektronische onderdelen beschermd
zijn tegen water. Het binnenkussen kan niet gewassen
worden.
Opbergen
Ontkoppel de batterij als het kussen voor langere tijd
opgeborgen wordt en niet in gebruik is.
Problemen
Mijn Stoov® werkt niet. Er branden geen indicatielampjes en
hij warmt niet op als ik op de aan/uitknop druk.
Kijk goed na of de batterij niet is beschadigd:
1. Kijk na of de batterij correct is aangesloten.
2. Ontkoppel en verbind de batterij opnieuw.
3. Laad de batterij volledig op.
Mijn Stoov® laadt niet op.
1. Gebruik een andere USB-lader en controleer of de
USB-lader werkt met een ander apparaat.
2. Controleer of de kabel beschadigd is. Vervang indien
nodig de kabel.
De batterij is volledig opgeladen en correct aangesloten,
maar mijn Stoov® werkt niet: geen indicatielampjes, geen
warmte.
Volg de volgende stappen om vast te kunnen stellen of er
een probleem is met de batterij:
1. Ontkoppel de batterij van het binnenkussen.
2. Verbind de oplader met het Stoov® Smartlabel.
3. Druk op de aan/uitknop om te kunnen controleren of
het kussen werkt zonder batterij.
Als het kussen oplaadt zonder batterij, dan vermoeden
we dat er een probleem is met de batterij. Contact
Stoov® via de klantenservice of bezoek een ociële
dealer van Stoov® in dat geval. Problemen met de bat-
terij vallen in het eerste jaar na aankoop van het product
onder de garantie. Losse batterijen zijn tevens verkrijg-
baar via de website van Stoov®.
De indicatielampjes van mijn Stoov® branden, maar het
kussen verwarmt niet.
1. Houdt de aan/uitknop 8 seconden ingedrukt.
2. Verbind de oplader met de Stoov® Smartlabel.
3. Druk nogmaals (kort) op de aan/uitknop totdat het
hoogste verwarmingslevel is ingeschakeld.
Als het kussen na 5 minuten niet is opgewarmd, dan is
waarschijnlijk het verwarmingselement beschadigd. Con-
tact Stoov® via de klantenservice of bezoek een ociële
dealer van Stoov®. Problemen met het verwarmingsele-
ment vallen in de eerste twee jaar na

Het product bevat elektronische onderdelen die uitsluit-
end door Stoov®, een ociële dealer of een andere ge-

Dit product voldoet aan de vereisten en andere
relevante bepalingen van de huidige Europese RoHS- en
