DG632
ASDL Modem Router
All-in-one Modem, Router, and True Firewall with USB
and Ethernet Connectivity
Here's exactly what you need to quickly hook up for Internet action. NETGEAR's combination
router, modem, and firewall lets you surf the Web and play computer and Internet games
with all the speed, flexibility, and easy handling you could ask for. It plugs directly into your
ADSL line for instant connectivity to network resources and the Internet, and it comes with
Double Firewall (SPI + NAT) security. All this at a price that's kind to your pocketbook.
NETGEAR's ADSL Modem Router lets you connect two devices – Ethernet and USB – making
it simple to link to your Xbox®or gaming console for up to 8 Mbps network speed. Setup
couldn’t be easier; NETGEAR's unique Smart Wizard interactive guide walks you through each
step to set up your DG632 – and Smart Wizard also automatically detects and makes the best
connection to your broadband service provider. Double Firewall protects your network against
intruders, including logs and alerts of break-in attempts. VPN pass-through makes it safe to
connect to your network from home or office. The router's compact, sleek design looks great
anywhere you set it up.
This full-featured 3-in-1 router connects directly to your ADSL line for direct, always-on Internet
connectivity at speeds up to 140 times faster than dial-up. Easy Plug-and-Play™USB port option
allows for simultaneous Ethernet and USB connectivity. Extend your network by plugging in a
switch, hub or access point to the Ethernet port of the DG632. Enjoy Internet surfing, gaming,
e-mailing, messaging, and distributing MP3s, digital movies and photos with Double Firewall
protection for your network and personal information.
No need to buy a separate modem, there's already one inside the router. Easy to set up, Smart
Wizard gets you connected in fewer than five clicks. The router works with PCs, Macs®, and
virtually all Ethernet devices, and comes with a free Ethernet cable and a free USB cable for
connecting your first computer. NETGEAR's sleek, trim case design fits right into your workspace.
Supports up to 8 Mbps network speed downstream (upgradeable to 24 Mbps with ADSL2+) and
800 Kbps upstream. Built-in Port Forwarding settings and Virtual Private Network (VPN) pass-
through make it simple to play Internet games, send instant messages, and host Internet services.
Double firewall includes Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) and Network Address Translation (NAT)
to secure your network, PCs, and files, and protect against hacker attacks. Provides "Trusted User"
management, logs browsing activities, and sends you optional e-mail alerts so you can monitor
Internet activities. VPN pass-through permits secure remote access to your network.
