1. IMPORTANT SAFETY SYMBOLS
The symbol is used to indicate that some hazardous live terminals
are involved within this apparatus, even under the normal oper-
ating conditions, which may be sucient to constitute the risk of
electric shock or death.
The symbol is used in the service documentation to indicate that
specic component shall be replaced only by the component
specied in that documentation for safety reasons.

Water and Moisture
The apparatus should be protected from moisture and rain and can not be used

near water; for example near a bathtub, a kitchen sink, a swimming pool, etc.
Heat
The apparatus should be located away from heat sources such as radiators, stoves
or other appliances that produce heat.
Ventilation
Do not block areas of ventilation opening. Failure to do could result in re. Always
install according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Object and Liquid Entry
Objects do not fall into and liquids are not spilled into the inside of the apparatus
for safety.
Cleaning
Clean only with a dry cloth. Do not use any solvents such as benzene or alcohol.
Servicing
Do not implement any servicing other than those means described in the manual.
Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel only. Only use accessories/attach-
ments or parts recommended by the manufacturer.
Warning
Please remember the high sound pressure do not only temporarily damage your
sense of hearing, but can also cause permanent damage. Be careful to select a
suitable volume.
2 .1 . Unpacking
Thank you for purchasing your ESTRO Series speakers. All units have been rigor-
ously tested before leaving the factory. Carefully unpack the carton and check the
contents to ensure that all parts are present and in good conditions:

If anything damaged during transport, notify the shipper immediately and keep
packing material for inspection. Again, please save its carton and all packing
materials. If the unit must be returned to the manufacturer, it is important that
the unit is returned in the original manufacturer’s packing. Please do not take any
action without rst contacting us.

3. PRODUCT OVERVIEW
ESTRO Passive Series speakers are part of a wider range of HELVIA product line. It
oers 5 models, from 6.5” to 15”. These speakers have been designed to be light-

weight, reliable and oer high-level sound in both xed installation and portable
applications. Powers ranging from 130W to 350W RMS, selected transducers,
advanced housing material are the ingredients wisely combined to oer the best
to installers and musicians. ESTRO speakers can be suspended through specic
brackets (not included), with eye-bolts (not supplied) and the M8 suspension
points, or placed on a speaker stand using the D36mm hole on the bottom.

4.2. Rear Panel - Electric Connection
ESTRO Passive Series loudspeakers have two connectors, the use of which you
have to understand.
WARNING: To avoid electric shocks, ensure that your amplifier is
switched off when you plug in the loudspeaker. Before turning on the
loudspeaker, be sure that the connections are correct to avoid short
circuits or wrong connections.
Input - Output Connections
Connection panel at the back of the loudspeaker fea-
tures two 2-pole Speakon connectors.
The two connectors are in parallel, meaning that the
internal wiring connections are the same, and you can
use them both as input or output socket.
The picture below shows how to connect the speaker
to a standard 4-poles Speakon, which has same size
of 2-pole model but, of course, contains two more
contacts. You have always use the rst two as shown
below:

5. INSTALLATION
Read these instructions carefully before installing and using the product.
• When the speaker is installed in a wall, check that the wall structure is reliable
and that the speaker is rmly attached.
• Do not install the speakers in ne wood or soft wall material because the
screws can get loose, causing the crash or breakdown of the speakers and
personal injury. Do not use nails, adhesives or other unauthorized devices.
Long-term use and vibrations may cause it to fall easily.

• Do not listen to sound at a very high level when you are changing the input
source (for example, from FM Tuner to CD player). Please be sure the power
amplier is turned o or master volume is at lower level.
• Do not attempt to clean the speakers with chemical solvents as this may
damage the paint surface. Clean with a dry cloth.

ESTRO 10P WALL-MOUNT BRACKET
As you can see by checking the drawings above, these brackets allow various
angles of inclination according to each speaker model. The set consists of a
C-bracket (a), a cylinder (b) to be inserted into the hole for pole on the bottom of
the speaker, and three screws (c) for xing the parts. Follow the steps below for
correct installation of the bracket and speaker.
1. Draw marks on the wall corresponding to the two or three holes on the
C-bracket, and drill the wall using proper tools for the type of wall.
2. Secure the C-bracket to the wall using wall plugs and screws of adequate size
to support the weight of the speaker.
3. Remove the rubber caps (4a, 4b) located on the top and bottom of the
speaker.
