Your high performance HeatWave support belt has been
designed to provide you with warmth and support where
and when you need it, whatever the weather.
Our unique heating system uses FabRoc®, a revolutionary
polymer that is extremely efficient in generating heat
from a low voltage power pack. FabRoc® panels are sewn
into the garment to provide direct heat to your body in
certain key areas. FabRoc® is scientifically proven to be
therapeutically beneficial, with no wires or hotspots, it
transfers warmth through your body via the bloodstream.
The FabRoc® panels are pre-set to a maximum surface
temperature of 500C. It is not possible to ‘overheat’
FabRoc® as it automatically uses less power as it reaches
its operating temperature, a unique property that ensures
the material is very safe.
The support belt also features polycarbonated strips and
vented elastic panels that provide flexible and adjustable
support when you need it most.
GETTING THE BEST RESULTS
The closer the FabRoc® panels are to your skin, the more heat
you will feel, so you can create your own microclimate wearing
only a fine pullover, t-shirt or blouse underneath.
The portable power pack will be supplied with a maintenance
charge, and we recommend that you connect it to the charger
until fully charged prior to first use. This power pack does not
require pre conditioning and will deliver 100% of power from
the first cycle.
The portable power pack will also provide heat on the lower
back area when off the bike for up to 3 hours of continuous
use. Experience suggests that you will get the best from your
HeatWave by turning the battery up and down as described
below.
Normally you would switch your belt on a few minutes before
wearing it. You should then be able to turn the temperature
down once it’s reached a comfortable level, as the heat
generated from your muscles will be sufficient to keep you
warm.
If you are resting, or the ambient temperature drops and
you feel cold, you can then increase the power indicator and
modulate as required to maintain your ideal comfort level.
USING THE POWER PACK
Fully charge your power pack before initial use, this will
take approximately 3 hours.
1. Remove connected cable from pocket
2. Insert the small 1.3mm DC plug into the power pack.
3. See label on power pack for user operating instructions.

CHARGING THE POWER PACK
1. Remove power pack from the belt.
2. Connect charger unit to power pack.
The red light on the front of the charger
will light up when the charger is
checking on the level of battery power.
Fully depleted power packs will take
approximately 3 hours to fully recharge.
The red light stays on continuously while the power pack is
being charged. The red light turns to green when fully charged.
The charger supplied has been chosen specifically for the power
pack supplied. No other charger must be used.
CONNECTING TO A MOTORCYCLE
The HeatWave belt is simple to operate and set-up.
Every belt comes supplied with a standard power cord, which
has an inline 10 amp fuse. The fused line should be connected
to the motorcycle battery positive terminal. The other should be
connected to the battery negative terminal.
To operate the HeatWave, simply plug the belt power cable into
the socket (or P13S13 extension cable socket if used).
The belt will start to heat up and will reach its maximum
temperature in around 10-15 minutes. The self-regulating
properties of the belt will prevent it from overheating.
