FITBIT®FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT IS A FITBIT®ZIP™?

The Fitbit Zip is a wireless activity tracker that you clip on each morning. Each time

you sync it with your computer (or select smartphone) and log into your Go Gold 2014

account, you can watch your steps add up… automatically. Go Gold makes tracking

your daily steps easy and fun.

Note: Although the Fitbit tracks steps, distance, and calories, only steps count as points

in Go Gold.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO ONCE I RECEIVE MY FITBIT?

Follow the instructions provided to register your device on Fitbit.com. Then, go to your Go

Gold account and click on the Connect Fitbit Device link on the Getting Started page or

the icon at the top, and connect your Fitbit.

DO I HAVE TO MANUALLY LOG MY STEPS EVERY DAY

IF I USE MY FITBIT?

No. As long as your Fitbit is within 10 feet of the wireless USB dongle, it will

automatically download your steps to your Go Gold account.

CAN I USE ANY PEDOMETER TO SYNC TO MY

GO

GOLD

ACCOUNT?

Go Gold is currently congured to work only with pedometers from the Fitbit family (Zip,

One, Ultra, Flex). If you’re already using a Fitbit, connect your device by going to the

icon on your Go Gold account and click Connect; you’ll be directed to Fitbit.com. Sign

in to Fitbit (use your Fitbit account email and password); press Allow to sync your steps

with Go Gold.

IS THERE AN APP FOR THE FITBIT?

Fitbit offers Bluetooth Smart connectivity (delivering real-time stats without sapping your

phone’s battery) and is available on iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPad 3, iPad Retina, iPad mini,

iPod touch, and select Androids.
