Do not use for applications other than those for which it has been designed.
- Minimum lifespan: 3000 hours of use;
- The protective screen might be damaged (scratches / cracks). It should then be replaced (BARRIPPIN reference). Remove
the protective film before replacing it;
- If the LCD lens does not darken when you use it, if there is no reaction during welding, if the lens flashes and/or is unstable,
if the lens darkens but returns to the clear state, then the LCD lens may be damaged. It should not be used. Contact us and
replace it immediately;
- If the LCD lens shatters or can no longer switch from the clear to the dark state when you use it, change it immediately;
- Never use a damaged screen;
- Do not modify this product, only use the accessories designed for it. Contact us for further information;
- Keep your workplace clean and tidy. Cluttered workplaces cause accidents;
- The work place should be well lit. Work in dry conditions not in damp environments away from gas or inflammable liquids;
- Dress appropriately with welding clothes, gloves and non-slip shoes. Avoid wearing jewellery and loose clothing:
- Keep out of the reach of children;
- Read the instructions and the markings on the products carefully.
Instructions for storage:
Store your equipment in a clean, cool, dry place in its original packaging;
Instructions for cleaning / maintenance:
- Keep the photoelectric cell clean;
- After welding check the protective screen, wipe it if necessary, with a soft cloth or clean it with a mild detergent. Do not use
an abrasive cloth;
- Your product should be checked regularly by qualified people.
Always replace the protective screen inside the helmet after use. The LCD screen should not be wiped directly; the protective
screens can be cleaned with alcohol using a clean soft cloth.

ventilation, with EN175:1997 standard (for the BARRIHL helmet), EN166:2001 (for the glass screen, BARRIPP & BARRIBP)
and EN379 standards (for the electro-optical filter BARRILQ).
Caracteristics of the LCD filter ref. BARRILQ:
Shade :
- Clear state : 4
- Dark state : 9 to 13 adjustable
Switching speed : = 0,0003 s (from clear to dark state)
Switching time : =< 0.1s (reaction time), applicable to spot welding
Adjustable from 0.1 to 0.5s
Meaning of marking on LCD screen : 4 / 9-13 DELTA 1 / 3 / 3 / 3
4 : Shade in clear state
9 : Shade in dark state (the lightest), field 1
13 : Shade in dark state, field 2
DELTA : Delta Plus Group identification
1 : Optical class (1 = high)
3 : Light diffusion class
3 : Transmission factor variation class in the visible
3 : Angle dependence of luminous transmittance class
