Specific Safety Regulations for Rechargeable Hand Tools
• Only use the charger supplied. The charger is only intended for indoor use.
• Allow a hot battery cool off before charging begins. The temperature when
charging should be around 0 °C – 40 °C, (20 – 25 °C is recommended for best
results).
• If the battery is charged in a temperature below 0 °C it may lead to overcharge
which may damage the tool. The battery cannot be charged in temperatures
above 40°C. The battery gives full effect after 5 charges/discharges.
• Allow the charger to cool off for 15 minutes before charging the next battery.
Do not charge more than 2 batteries in a row without a longer break.
• Make sure that no foreign objects get inside the tool through the battery
opening. Avoid short-circuiting; cover the battery’s terminal contacts with
insulating material if stored separately.
• Never dismantle the rechargeable battery or the charger.
• Make sure that the rechargeable battery does not short-circuit, it may damage
the battery and lead to personal injury in case of an explosion.
• The battery might explode if exposed to re or high heat. Never dispose of the
battery in re. Never expose the battery to strong sunlight.
• Check before drilling oors, ceilings, or walls, that there are no hidden electric
cables, water pipes or anything else that may be damaged. Use e.g. a metal
detector.
• Always set the forward/reverse selector to the locked position before changing
tools.
