ACTIVATING YOUR DEVICE AND REPLACING THE BATTERY
Before rst use, remove the protective lm from the included CR2032
battery to activate your Kräb.
1. Insert a coin or similar object into the opening cavity of the
battery cover F
.
2. Turn counterclockwise to align the cover alignment dot D
with the left device alignment dot C.
3. Lift the battery cover using the opening notch, Emaking sure
not to remove the cover’s sealing ring.
4. Insert the included CR2032 battery or a replacement CR2032
battery into the compartment, making sure the at side faces up.
5. Put the cover back in place by adjusting the cover alignment
dot Dand the left device alignment dot C.
6. Using the coin or similar object from step 1, turn the cover
clockwise to lock it in place. The cover alignment dot D
should be aligned with the right device alignment dot C.

HOW TO USE YOUR KRÄB
1. With your ngers, tap twice on the screen Ato turn it on.
2. Place the thermometer in water or on a at surface to
measure the temperature.
3. The indicator light B will ash red when the temperature
exceeds 39°C (102°F).
4. The word COLD will be displayed Aon the screen when the
water temperature is below 32°C (89°F).
5. The device will shut off automatically after one hour.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Clean the device with a cloth and a bit of mild soap. Make
sure not to use any chemical agents.
• Protect the screen from falls.
• If your Kräb stops working properly, replace the battery. Given
an hour of daily use, the battery should have a lifespan of
about a year. Remove the battery if you do not intend to use
your Kräb for a while.
WARNINGS
• Although the Kräb can be used as a toy, parental supervision
is recommended. Never leave your child unattended.
• The Kräb is designed for personal, non-commercial use.
• Inspect your Kräb before each use for signs of wear or
breakage and ensure that the battery cover is placed
correctly and has been closed.
• Keep the temperature of the device between -10°C and
+60°C (14°F and 140°F).
• Do not expose the Kräb to direct sunlight for a long period of
time or place it near a source of heat, dust, or ames.
•
When your Kräb is not in use, keep it away from moisture to
extend its battery life.
• This product contains a button cell or coin battery. If
swallowed, a button cell or coin battery can cause internal
chemical burns in just two hours and lead to death. If you
think your child or another individual may have swallowed the
battery or that the battery may have entered any part of the
body, seek immediate medical attention.
• Immediately dispose of used batteries. Keep both new and
used batteries away from children.

ACTIVATION ET REPLACEMENT DE LA PILE
Avant la première utilisation, retirez le lm protecteur de la pile

1. Insérez une pièce de monnaie ou un objet similaire dans la

COMMENT UTILISER VOTRE KRÄB

correctement. La durée de vie de la batterie est d’environ un

la batterie si vous n’avez pas l’intention d’utiliser Kräb pendant
un certain temps.
