General information
Reading and storing the user manual
This user manual accompanies this aluminium telescopic ladder 3.27 m
(referred to below only as the “ladder”). It contains important information
about safety and use.
Before using the ladder, read the user manual carefully.
This particularly applies to the safety instructions. Failure to heed this user manual
may result in severe injury or damage to the ladder.
The user manual is based on the standards and rules in force in the European Union.
When abroad, you must also observe country-specific guidelines and laws.
Store the user manual for future use. If you pass the ladder on to third parties, please
be absolutely sure to include this user manual.
Explanation of symbols
The following symbols and signal words are used in this user manual, on the ladder
or on the packaging.
WARNING!

with moderate risk, which may result in death or

There is a risk of injury with incorrect handling. You can easily slip or
fall off the ladder and injure yourself.
FRONT
BACK Position the ladder with the “back” facing the wall and the “front”
facing the user.

During deployment bear in mind the necessary inclination angle.
The inclination angle/propping angle of the ladder must amount
to approx. 75° (ratio 1:4).

Always conduct a sight check of the ladder before using the ladder.

Climbing sideways off the ladder is not permitted.

Make sure that the floor at the installation site is not contaminated.
Only set up the ladder on solid ground.
Only one person is permitted on the climbable side of the
ladder.
When transporting the ladder, pay attention to risks
posed by power lines.
Do not use the ladder to bridge distances.
Always face the ladder while climbing up and down it.
Make sure that you lean the top end of the ladder correctly.
Do not use the ladder on a unlevel or unfirm base.

When using the ladder observe the correct set-up direction.

The ladder may only be used in combination with the stabiliser on
the feet (support foot).
Before using the ladder, all rungs which have been pulled out must be
locked.

While retracting the ladder, hands must be situated on
the outside beams and must not, during any point of the
retracting process, be placed on the rungs.

Proper use
The ladder is designed exclusively for use as a climbing aid
and has a maximum load capacity of 100kg. It is only
intended for private use and is not suitable for commercial
purposes.
The ladder is designed exclusively as a leaning ladder, which means it must be leaned
against a contact point with an inclination angle of approx. 1:4.
Only use the ladder as described in this user manual. Any other use is deemed
improper and may result in damage to property or even personal injury.
The ladder is not a children’s toy.
The manufacturer or vendor accepts no liability for damage caused by improper or
incorrect use.
