operation
It is recommended to use the kettle for several times following instructions given below and to
removeremainingwaterbeforerstusage.Thiswillremoveanymaterialsordustremainedinthe
appliancefromthemanufacturingprocess.
1.OpenthelidbyturningtheLidupwhilepressingtheLidbuttonandpourwaterintothekettle.
Thenreplacethelid,otherwisethekettlewouldnotbeabletoturnothepowerautomatically
afterwaterhasboiled.
Caution: the lled water level must be between the “Max” and “Min” level as indicated on the housing. Too little water
will damage the heat element and if the kettle is overlled, boiling water may splash out.
2.Replacethekettleonthepowerbaseandconnecttopowersupply.Positionthekettlesothat
thespoutofthekettleisfacingawayfromyou.
3.Presstheswitchbuttonto“I”positionandthelightwillashon.Andwaterwillstarttoheatup.
Donotopenthelidwhilethewaterisboiling.
Caution: Ensure that the switch is clear of obstructions and the lid is rmly closed. The kettle will not turn o if the
switch is constrained or if the lid is left open.
4.Powerwillbecutoautomaticallyandtheswitchwillbebackto“0”positiononcewaterhas
beenboiled.Andthelightwillbeo.
5.Liftthekettlefromthepowerbaseandthenpourthewater.
Note: Be careful when pouring water from the kettle, as boiling water may cause scalding.
6.Theboilingprocesscanbeterminatedatanytimebyliftingthekettleothepowerbaseor
pressingtheswitchto“0”position.

caution
• Neverusetheappliancewhenitisempty.Ifsuchsituationwilloccur,thethermalcut-oinside
thekettlewouldturnothepowerautomatically.Unplug the appliance and let it cooldown
completely.
• Theltermustbeinplaceduringtheworkoftheapplianceotherwisewaterspillagemayoccur.
Note: Ensure the power is turned o while the kettle is not in use.

4.Periodicdescalingisneeded.Thefrequencyofdescalingdependsonthehardnessofwaterin
yourlivingareaandhowoftenyouusethekettle.
5.TheFiltercanbedetachedforeasiercleaningsimplybypullingitout.Toattach,inserttheFilter
intothesupportdent.
6.Thepowercordcanberoundedaroundthebottomofpowerbaseforstorage.
7.Donotattempttodismantlethekettleorpowerbase.Therearenouserserviceablepartsinside
them.Foranyproblem,contacttheauthorizedservicefacilityforhelp.
