SAFETY CAUTIONS
• Use of this appliance is not recommended for people
wearing an electronic implant (heart pacemaker, etc).
Also, it will not work accurately for pregnant women.
• Do not immerse in water or any other liquid.
• Keep the scale out of the reach of children.
• Do not drop the scale as this may damage the sensors.
• To clean the scale, use a damp cloth without using a
cleaning product. Make sure water does not penetrate
inside the appliance.
• Do not place anything on the surface of the scale.
• Always inspect the appliance before use for noticeable
signs of damage.
• Do not use if damaged, or if the appliance has been
dropped.
• In the event of damage, contact the Conair Customer
Care Line (refer to ‘UK After Sales Service’ for further
information).
• This product complies fully with all appropriate EU
and UK Legislation and the Standards relevant to this

• The battery should be removed for safe disposal at the
end of its life.
• When the battery has run down, it should be disposed
of at a recycling centre to safeguard the environment.
If the battery leaks, avoid touching it and dispose of it
at a recycling centre.
• This scale is designed for home use only and is not
suitable for professional purposes.
TWO WAYS TO USE THIS SCALE
There are 2 ways of using this scale, all with body weight readings.
1- Weight only
You can use this scale for weight only. No programming is needed.
2- Weight, BMI, body fat, body water, bone mass
You can also get body analysis information; BMI (body mass
index), body fat, body water readings and bone mass.
SET UP YOUR SCALE FOR USE
IMPORTANT! BEFORE USE:
1. Remove all packaging materials.
2. Remove the isolator tab from the battery compartment – without opening
the battery cover at the bottom of the scale, gently pull out the isolator tab.
(In case the tab cannot be pulled out, or if the scale display does not work
after you have pulled the isolator tab, remove the screw from the battery
cover and remove the cover. Gently pull out the isolator tab or any pieces
of it that may block the battery contacts. Ensure the battery is installed
correctly. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw again).
3. Your scale is now ready to use.
For best accuracy, place scale on tile or hardwood oor, rather than
uneven, exible or soft ooring (such as carpet).
• The scale is set to (St) stones and pounds. For (Kg) kilos or (Lb) pounds,
press the button on the underside of the scale.
• Place the scale on a at, level surface for accurate operation and safety.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1 - Weight only
• Firmly and sharply Tap the centre of the scale with your foot.
Whole screen appears
• Then wait for ‘0:0’ to display
• Step on to the scale.
• Your weight displays.
• The scale turns off.
PROGRAMMING YOUR SCALE
For Weight & Body Analysis
Please read these instructions completely before programming.
This scale can be customised for up to 4 users. While the customisation
process is not difcult, it may be easiest to read all the instructions rst to
familiarise yourself with them. Then keep the instruction manual handy as
you go through the process step by step.
Personal Data Setting Mode
The user buttons are on the top edge of the scale, and functions
correspond to the illustrations on the front of the scale.
Personal Data Setting
Tap the platform rmly to activate the scale. The whole screen will appear.
Wait for “0.0” to show, then press the “SET” button to enter into Personal
data setting mode.
User “P-1” will ash. Press the UP or DOWN button to choose user number
(user 1 to user 4). Press the SET button to conrm.
P-4 P-1 P-2 P-3 P-4 P-1….
After selecting the user, continue to press the “SET” button and the scale
will switch to the height setting mode.
ST/feet and inches mode
Height will ash. Press the UP or DOWN button to choose the height. If the
scale is set to measure in pounds, the height will display in feet and inches.
If it is set to measure in kgs, the height will display in cm. Pressing and
holding the UP or DOWN button will advance numbers quickly. Press the
SET button to conrm the height.
After selecting the height, continue to press the “SET” button and the scale
will switch to Age setting mode.
Age will ash. Press the UP or DOWN button to choose the age (18-100).
Pressing and holding the UP or DOWN button will advance numbers quickly.
Press the SET button to conrm the Age.
After selecting the Age, continue to press “SET” button and the scale will
switch to the gender setting mode.
The gender icon will ash. Press the the UP or DOWN button to choose
between male and female.
After selecting the Gender, press “SET” to conrm the personal data setting
has been completed. The scale will save the data and scroll through all
settings in succession. Then the scale will turn off automatically after a few
seconds. Before scale turns off, you can enter the body fat measurement
mode (see below).
Note 1: If you need to edit any of your personal data, you can do so while
the data is being displayed: simply press the “SET” button and scale will
go back to the personal data setting mode again. Follow the instructions
above.
Note 2: In the personal data setting mode, the scale will return to standby
mode automatically if no button is pressed within 30 seconds and already
entered data will not be saved. If that happens, simply repeat the personal
data setting process described above.
Display and store data
1. Once the gender is set, data storage is complete.
2. user number, height ,age ,gender will display for a few seconds accordingly
3. The scale is now ready for body analysis measurements.
Body Analysis Measurement
Operate the scale on a secure at oor. Tap on the platform rmly to activate
the scale.Wait until you see «0:0» in st mode, then press the ”UP” or
”DOWN” button to select your user number. Your data (height, age, gender)
will quickly display again.
Once the LCD shows “0:0”, you can step on the scale. Step on barefoot with
your feet aligned on the electrodes (metal strips) on the two sides of platform.
If your feet are not bare, the scale will not be able to take measurements and
you will get an error reading.
ST mode
After a few seconds, the LCD will show your body weight, body fat
percentage, body water percentage, BMI and bone mass percentage for
about 30 seconds, and then turn off automatically.
ST mode
If you get an error reading, make sure you are stepping on the scale in bare feet
(no stockings or pantyhose) and your feet are aligned on the metal strips. If you
still get an error reading, your skin may be too dry: try rubbing a bit of lotion on
the soles of your feet and make sure not to slip on the platform of the scale.
ST mode
Note: Your scale will also read error if your weight is below or above the
specications for the scale.
Low battery warning: When the battery is critically low, the scale display
will show “Lo” and it is time to replace the battery (see battery replacement
instructions).
Note: If you step on the scale before “0.0” appears or if your feet are not
aligned on the electrodes, the scale will not function properly.
Weight and Body Fat
What is body fat percentage?
Body fat percentage is the weight of body fat divided by total body weight
and multiplied by 100 – for example: 36kg fat / 90kg total body weight x 100
= 40% body fat.
How does the scale calculate body fat percentage?
Body fat is calculated using a method called Bioelectrical Impedance
Analysis (BIA). A very weak electric current is passed through the body to
measure the impedance (resistance) to lean body mass and fat mass.
This current passes more quickly through lean body mass (due to its water
