This usermanual contains important safety instructions and

information for proper use of thedevice.Please follow the

instructions in this manual carefully.

APlease keepthe device away from placeswith high temperatures, high

humidity or dust.

BIn particular please avoid leaving thedevice in the car during

summer if thedoors are closed.

CAvoid shocks and do not let thedevice fall,as otherwise it may cause

damage to thedevice.

DThe Standby Time of thebatteries may vary dueto different

environmental influences.

EWe are not responsible for data losses that are causedby damage to the

product, repairs or any other reasons.

FDo not open thehousing of thedevice.Doing this will void your

warrantyclaims.

GDo not use alcohol, thinnersor petrolto clean the display

–use only adry cloth.

Description of the buttons

VolumeButtons:

Increase or reduce thevolume.

Power Key:

Press thebutton for 5~7 secondsto switch on or switch off

thedevice.ShortPress thebutton to enter or endtheStandby-Mode.

Reset: Press thebutton for 10~15 secondsto resetthedevice.

To go back to theHome Screen

Language setting

V97HD is delivered with English as adefault language. To change

thelanguage setting,please do thefollowing:

-Press on theprogramme menu symbol

the

rightside of thescreen.

-Select‘Settings’ .

-Scroll to theend of thelist.

-Select‘Language &keyboard’.

-Select‘Selectlanguage’.

-Type your preferred language.

-Press the‘Home’button to return to thehome screen.

Power monitoring and charging the batteries

The battery charge symbol ion thestatusbar indicates the

charging statusof the batteries.

If thepower goes down to empty, thedevice shutsoff

automatically. If power is empty, use the power adapter to charge the

device.

The charging time for the battery is approximately 6~8 hours.

Screen lock

If thedevice is not usedfor specified time or press the‘Power’

button briefly, thescreen will switch off and display lockis activated. By

pressing the‘Power’button briefly thescreenwill be reactivated. For

unlocking thescreenpress the ‘Lock’ button in thespecified direction.

Connecting to the computer and data transfer

V97HD is equipped with aHigh-SpeedUSB2.0 Interface. After

you connectthedevice to acomputer, it appears in thestatusbar

display .

Pull thestatusbar down and press ‘USBConnection’to activate the

USBMemory. When using thedevice for data transfer,

you cannot access theMicroSD/TF Card from V97HD!

Functions of the buttons on the user interface:

Home Button:

To go back to theHome screen.

Menu Button: To

open

the

menu.

Back Button:

To go back to theprevious menu /previous page.

Program Menu Button:

To display theprograms and applications.

ChangeWindow Button:

The device has five desktops. You can press this button

or push your finger on the touch screen to theside to navigate

between different desktops.

WIFI /WLAN Signal Icon

ApkInstaller:

Program for installing and uninstalling Apps that were not

downloaded fromtheAndroid Market.

Market (Google Play Store): need gmail accountto

Load

Apps

(programs) fromtheAndroid Market. You can download and install apps,

games and other applications. Many are free.

Explorer:

Open theExplorer to access Micro SD TF Cards, USBsticks and other

storage media. The Explorer is apractical manager for documentsand

all types of data.

Internet browser

Camera ,Back camera is 5.0 MP. Click to autofocus

E-mail:

Appfor exchange email accountsetup, and compose/send/receive email

G-mail:

Appfrom Google, receiving,processing and sending e-mails through

Google account.

Google Maps:

Program for thedisplay of maps or satellite images –Routeplanner.

Calendar:

Managing schedules –can be synchronisedautomatically with a

Google account.

Pocket Calculator

Time:

Time display and setting alarm functions.

Settings:

Changing thebasic settingsof V97HD.

SoundRecorder: Dictation Device Function.

Video Player

Gallery:

Manage and display images and videos–also enables synchronisation

with Picasa web albums.

Touch theiconfor the settings to open the system settingsmenu:

1. Wireless &Networks

Touch ‘Wireless&Networks’.

WLAN: Touch => to switch on theWLAN

function.

The device automatically searchesfor available WLAN networks.

WLAN Settings: Selectyour network here.

If needed you will be requested to enter your WLAN password:
