Plug the square end of the supplied 6 foot USB Type-B cable⑬into the
rear USB type-B input⑪of the All-In-One Monitor Riser. Plug the flatter
end of the USB cable into an open port on your computer/laptop. You
now have power to the All-In-One Monitor Riser. You also have the ability
to communicate to your computer/laptop via flash drives, SD Cards,
Apple® products, etc.
2: 5V DC Power Adapter
Plug the DC 5V power cable⑮into the rear DC 5V input adapter⑫of
the All-In-One Monitor Riser. Plug the larger end of the adapter into a
wall outlet.
Speakers
Using the speakers
The All-In-One Monitor Riser has two high quality speakers③to play
music/sounds from your computer, Apple® device, phone, MP3 player or
other device.
1: Playing music/sounds from computer
In order to play music/sounds from your computer you must have the All-
In-One Monitor Riser connected with the USB type-B cable⑬. You must
also have the 6 foot Auxiliary cable⑭attached. To do this, plug one end
of the cable into either the front or rear Auxiliary port⑩on the All-In-
One Monitor Riser and the other end into the “AUX” port on your
computer. If your computer does not have a “AUX” port, use the
“headphone” port instead (Note: If you would like to play music/sounds
from your computer through the All-In-One Monitor Riser for an
extended period of time, we recommend using the rear Auxiliary port.
This will reduce cord clutter).

6
2: Playing music from an Apple® device
To play music from your Apple® device, plug in either the USB type-B
cable⑬or the DC 5V Adapter⑫to power the Monitor Riser. Then place
the Apple® device on the docking station⑥(Note: When powered by the
DC 5V Power Adapter your Apple® device will not be able to
communicate with your computer. Use the supplied USB type-B cable to
connect to the computer in order to manage your device with programs
such as iTunes®).
3: Playing music from a USB device
To play music from a USB device such as a flash drive, plug the USB device
into one of the USB ports④on the front or rear of the All-In-One
Monitor Riser. Then follow the directions of how to supply power to the
All-In-One Monitor Riser in section 1 of Using the speakers. You can now
manage the music from your connected computer.
4: Playing music from other devices (phones, MP3 players, etc.)
You can also play music from a number of other devices. Plug in the USB
type-B cable⑬into the USB type-B input⑪or the DC 5V power cable⑮
into the DC 5V input adapter⑫. Using the supplied Auxiliary cable⑭,
plug one end into the All-In-One Monitor Riser⑩and the other into your
device. You may control the playback of music on whatever device you
are using.

Once the All-In-One Monitor Riser is powered by USB or 5V DC Adapter,
you may enjoy music from your speakers. To do so, turn the VOLUME
knob clockwise. Upon turning, a blue LED light will illuminate signaling
that the speakers have power.
Controlling the volume
To control the volume, rotate the Volume knob⑦clockwise and
counterclockwise. Turning the Volume knob⑦clockwise (right) will

7
increase the volume. Turning the knob counterclockwise (left) will
decrease the volume.
Docking Station
Opening and closing
To open the docking station⑥, push the TOUCH icon. The docking
station will click inwards, and then a spring will pop the dock out. Pull the
dock out completely until the internal magnetic locking pin engages. This
feature will hold the docking station in place while you use your Apple®
device. To close the docking station, press firmly on the TOUCH icon to
glide and click the dock back into place.
Connecting Apple® devices
To connect your Apple® products, place the device on the Apple®
connecting pin that sticks up from the docking station⑥. This is the same
pin found in cables that are supplied with genuine Apple® products. Once
your product is placed on the connecting pin, the Monitor Riser will
automatically begin reading. You can now use the connected Apple®
device to control the music being played. If you would like to charge your
device and connect to the computer, you must have the Monitor Riser
powered by both the USB Type B cable⑬and the DC 5V power cable⑮.
NOTE: Due to the iPad’s™ electrical configuration, the iPad™ can only be
charged when powered by the DC 5V power cable⑮exclusively. When
connected by USB Type B cable⑬, charging is disabled.
USB hub
Using the USB hub
The high speed USB 2.0 hub can be used when the Monitor Riser is
powered by the USB type-B input⑬or the DC 5V input adapter⑫.
