INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing the VTech® Sleepy Sloth Cot Light.

Soothe baby into a peaceful sleep with the Sleepy Sloth Cot Light.

This adorable cot light toy projects a relaxing image onto the celling

to calm your little one as they go to sleep. Choose between two

modes to play calming melodies and lullabies or relaxing sounds.

WARNING

All packing materials such as tape, plastic sheets, packaging locks,

removable tags, cable ties, cords and packaging screws are not part

of this toy and should be discarded for your child’s safety.

INSTRUCTIONS

Battery Removal and Installation

1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF.

2. Locate the battery cover on the back of

the unit. Use a screwdriver to loosen the

screw and then open the battery cover.

3. Remove old batteries by pulling up on

one end of each battery.

4. Install 3 new AA (AM-3/LR6) batteries following the diagram

inside the battery box. (For best performance, alkaline

batteries or fully charged Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are

recommended.)

5. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.

WARNING:

Adult assembly required for battery installation.

Keep batteries out of reach of children.

IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION

• Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -).

• Do not mix old and new batteries.

• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable batteries.

• Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended

are to be used.

• Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.

• Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.

• Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.

• Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.

RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES:

• Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging.

• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult

supervision.

• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.

Disposal of batteries and product

The crossed-out wheelie bin symbols on products and

batteries, or on their respective packaging, indicates

they must not be disposed of in domestic waste as

they contain substances that can be damaging to the

environment and human health.

The chemical symbols Hg, Cd or Pb, where marked,

indicate that the battery contains more than the specified

value of mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd) or lead (Pb) set out

in the Batteries and Accumulators Regulation.

The solid bar indicates that the product was placed on the

market after 13th August, 2005.

Help protect the environment by disposing of your product

or batteries responsibly.

materials can be recycled.

NOTE:

With the VTech®Sleepy Sloth Cot Light comes first.

To ensure your child’s safety, the assembly of this product is an adult

activity, not a child’s activity. Please ensure that the cot attachment

strap is securely locked into position to avoid injury. Follow the

instructions below carefully and make sure the final assembly is

correct. Attach only to cots with sturdy rails and spindles. Do not

attach to playpens with mesh walls.

Please make sure the cot attachment strap is out of reach of

children when placed in the cot. Please ensure the cot light is

positioned in the upright position with the projection light facing

directly upwards.

Please remove the cot attachment strap from the unit when the

unit is going to be used outside the cot. The cot attachment strap

should not be given to your child.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

With the VTech®Sleepy Sloth Cot Light, safety comes first.To

ensure your child’s safety, adult assembly is required.

1. Place the unit in the cot bringing the strap over the top rail. Slip

the top of the strap under the slot on the back of the strap and

secure.

2. You can adjust the hanging height by

choosing the appropriate hole on the

strap.

3. Pull slightly on the unit to make

sure the strap has been securely

fastened. The unit should be snug

against the cot rail. Please check

the unit frequently to ensure it is still

secure.

PRODUCT FEATURES

1. OFF/15mins/45mins Switch

To turn the unit On, slide the

OFF/15mins/45mins to the 15mins

( ) or 45mins ( ) position.

To turn the unit Off, slide the

OFF/15mins/45mins switch to the

Off ( ) position.

2. Volume Controls

To adjust the volume, press the Low

Volume button ( ) or the High

Volume button ( ).

3. Light Control Button

Press the Light Control Button to

choose between the night light and

the light projection.

4. Sound Sensor

The VTech®Sleepy Sloth Cot Light is equipped with a

special Sound Sensor. Once the set time is up, the unit will

automatically shut off. The sensor will reactivate the program

when it detects baby’s cry for approximately 2 seconds without

interruption. The unit will reactivate and play lullabies or nature

sounds.

5. Automatic Shut Off

To preserve battery life, the Sleepy Sloth Cot Light will

automatically shut off after the timer has expired. The unit can be

reactivated by pressing any button, or when baby cries.

NOTE:

If the unit powers down while playing, we suggest changing the batteries.

ACTIVITIES

1. Lullaby Mode Button

Press the Lullaby Mode Button to

hear sing-along songs, phrases and

soothing melodies. The projector will

light up and the night light will glow.

2. Nature Sounds Mode Button

Press the Nature Sounds Mode

Button to hear soothing sounds. The

projector will light up and the night

light will glow.
