For better environmental protection, waste batteries should be collected separately for recycling or special
disposal.
CAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type
recommended by the equipment manufacturer. Discard used batteries according to manufacturer's instructions.
Under the European Union (“EU”) Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment, Directive 2002/96/EC,
which takes effect on August 13, 2005, products of “electrical and electronic equipment” cannot be discarded as
municipal waste anymore and manufacturers of covered electronic equipment will be obligated to take back such
products at the end of their useful life.

Safety Instructions
The following safety instructions will increase the life of the Product. Follow all precautions and instructions. Except as
described in this Manual, refer all servicing to qualified personnel. Do not use damaged power cords, accessories, or
other peripherals. Do not use strong solvents such as thinners, benzene, or other chemicals on or near the surface.
Disconnect the AC power and remove the battery pack(s) before cleaning. Wipe the Product using a clean
cellulose sponge or chamois cloth dampened with a solution of nonabrasive detergent and a few drops of warm
water and remove any extra moisture with a dry cloth.

Keep the User Manual that comes with the package for future reference.
Read the Safety Instructions carefully and thoroughly. All cautions and warnings on the Product or User
Manual should be noted
Lay the Product on a stable surface before setting it up.
Keep the Product away from humidity and high temperature.

Safety Instructions
The openings on the enclosure are used for air convention and to prevent the Product from overheating.
Do not cover the openings.
Make sure the power voltage is within safety range and has been adjusted properly to the value of
100~240V before connecting the Product to the power outlet.
Never pour liquid into the opening that could damage the Product or cause an electrical shock.
Do not leave the Product in an unconditioned environment with a storage temperature above 60°C (140°F)
or below 0°C (32°F) , which may damage the Product.
Place the power cord in a way that people are unlikely stepping on it. Do not place anything on top of the
power cord.
Always unplug the power cord before inserting any add-on card or module.

If any of the following situations arises, get the Product checked by a service personnel:
● The power cord or plug is damaged.
● Liquid has penetrated into the Product.
● The Product has been exposed to moisture.
● The Product has not worked well or you cannot get it work according to User Manual.
● The Product was dropped and damaged.
● The Product has obvious signs of breakage.

To prevent explosion caused by improper battery replacement, use the same or equivalent type of battery
recommended by the manufacturer only.
Always keep the battery in a safe place.
Always keep the strong magnetic or electrical objects away from the Product.

Charging your battery pack
Airplane Precautions
To prepare the Product for transport, you should close the top cover to protect the keyboard and display panel.
The Product surface is easily dulled if not properly cared for. Be careful not to rub or scrape surfaces when transporting
your Product. You can put your Product in a carry bag for protection from dirt, water, shock and scratches.
If you intend to use battery power, be sure to fully charge your battery pack and any optional battery packs before
going on long trips. Remember that the power adapter charges the battery pack as long as it is plugged into the Product
and an AC power source is connecting. Be aware that it takes much longer to charge the battery pack when the Product
is in use.
Contact your airline if you want to use the Product on the airplane. Most airlines have restrictions for using electronic
devices. Most airlines allow electronic use only between and NOT during takeoffs and landings.
There are three main types of airport security devices: X-ray machines (used on items placed on conveyor belts),
magnetic detectors (used on people walking through security checks), and magnetic wands (hand-held devices used
on people or individual items). You can send your Product through airport X-ray machines. However, it is recommended
that you do not send your Product through airport magnetic detectors or expose it to magnetic wands
