Scan Memory : To activate and deactivate the
scan memory, press this button momentarily on the
concerned channel. "ME" is displayed in the LCD
display upon activating this button. The activated

"DW" icon blinks on the LCD display. During

Preset Channel 1 : Press this button for more than 2 seconds
to activate and deactivate the Preset Channel 1. The preset
channel 1 (also channel 2,3&4 below) is preprogrammed by
your dealer. Upon a preset channel is selected the small icon
"M" following the frequency readouts is displayed. Please
consult your dealer for the preset channel information.

Preset channel 2 : Press this button for more than 2 seconds

to enter and escape from the Preset channel 3.
Monitor: Monitor is the squelch open status. By
pressing this button momentarily, your transceiver
goes to the squelch open status. You may hear
static or hiss during checking activity on the current
channel before transmitting. Then the channel is clear and you
can use it. Do not transmit if you hear and conversation during
monitoring.
