becomes necessary to switch refrigerantcylinders or whenallowing system pressures to equal-
ize.Itis also usefulwhen programming a criticalcharge(less than 8 ounces) and itis desirable
to lock thescaledisplay to preventdrift or bounce,when purging ahose,opening and closing
avalveor heating/shifting thecylinder.
