STIHL Schutzhandschuhe für Benutzer von Motorsägen
Zur Gewährleistung eines möglichst hohen Schutzes und Komforts bei
der Benutzung dieses Sicherheitsproduktes ist es unbedingt erforderlich,
die folgenden Informationen zu beachten.
1. Achtung!
Keine Sicherheitsausstattung kann absoluten Schutz vor
Verletzungen durch Motorgeräte (wie z. B. Motorsäge) bieten.
Der Grad der Schutzwirkung hängt von sehr vielen Einflüssen ab
(wie z. B. Drehzahl und Drehmoment des Motors, Intensität und
Dauer des Kontaktes mit dem Arbeitswerkzeug etc.).
Entsprechend der Herstelleranweisung muss die Motorsäge beim
Betrieb immer mit beiden Händen gehalten werden.
Diese Schutzhandschuhe sind kein Ersatz für eine sichere
Arbeitstechnik. Unsachgemäßer Gebrauch des Motorgerätes kann
zu Unfällen führen. Deshalb unbedingt Sicherheitsbestimmungen der
entsprechenden Behörden (Berufsgenossenschaften o. ä.) und
Sicherheitshinweise in der Gebrauchsanleitung des benutzten
Motorgerätes beachten.
Schutzprodukt vor jeder Benutzung auf einwandfreien Zustand
überprüfen (beispielsweise optischer Zustand des Produkts). Bei
Schäden oder Veränderungen Produkt unverzüglich entsorgen.
2. STIHL Schutzhandschuhe benötigen spezielle Behandlung und
PfIege zur Bewahrung der Sicherheitsfunktion.
Reinigung:
Bei starker Verschmutzung falls notwendig von Hand in Seifenlauge
reinigen. Danach gut ausspülen. Nicht in Nähe einer Wärmequelle
trocknen (sondern bei Zimmertemperatur). Regelmäßig mit
Lederpflegemittel (wasserabweisend und rückfettend) behandeln.
Unsachgemäße Reinigung und Pflege kann die Schutzwirkung des
Produktes negativ beeinflussen. Bitte nur wie vorgeschrieben
Reinigen.
Jegliche Veränderungen des Produkts können die Schutzwirkung
negativ beeinflussen. Deshalb keinesfalls Veränderungen am
Produkt vornehmen. Verändertes Produkt unverzüglich entsorgen.
Dieses Schutzprodukt ist für den Einsatz bei Arbeiten mit
handgeführten Motorsägen konzipiert. Eine Schutzwirkung gegen
andere Gefahren besteht nicht (beispielsweise andere
Einsatzbereiche wie Baubereich, bei Kontakt mit elektrischer
Energie/Strom, bei Arbeiten mit Trennschleifgeräten,
Hochdruckreinigern, usw).

3. Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt der Schutzhandschuhe mit spitzen oder
scharfen Gegenständen (Motorsägenkette, Metallwerkzeuge usw.)
sowie den Kontakt mit aggressiven Stoffen wie tierische Exkremente,
Säuren, Öl, Lösungsmittel, Kraftstoff o. ä., um eine Beschädigung
des Materials zu verhindern.
Ebenso ist der Kontakt mit heißen Gegenständen (Auspuff u.ä.) und
anderen Wärmequellen (offenes Feuer, Heizöfen u.ä.) zu vermeiden.
Achtung!
Wenn die Schutzhandschuhe während der Arbeit mit Kraftstoff, Öl,
Fett oder anderen brenn- und entzündbaren Substanzen benetzt
wurden, unbedingt erst die Handschuhe wechseln bevor
weitergearbeitet wird. Brandgefahr! Handschuhe vor weiterer
Benutzung erst wie vorgeschrieben reinigen.
4. Keine Reparatur möglich.
Bei Beschädigung sofort aussondern.
5. Kriterien zur Aussonderung:
Schutzhandschuhe mit beschädigter Oberfläche oder veränderter
oder beschädigter Schnittschutzeinlage dürfen nicht mehr benutzt
werden (Verlust der Schutzwirkung!).
Wir empfehlen einen Ersatz des Produktes wegen Verschleiß: bei
regelmäßigem Einsatz (mehrmals monatlich) nach max. 2 Jahren.
Bei gelegentlichem Einsatz nach max. 5 Jahren (u. a. auch wegen
Alterung der Materialien)
6. Diese Schutzhandschuhe entsprechen der EG-Richtlinie 89/686/
EWG, Europäische Norm EN 381-7:1999
("Schutzkleidung für Benutzer von handgeführten Motorsägen,
Anforderungen an Schutzhandschuhe").
7. Gewicht
Das Gewicht eines Paares Schutzhandschuhe beträgt
ca. 240 - 470 Gramm (5-Finger-Form)

8. Wahl der richtigen Größe
Die Wahl der richtigen Größe ist zu beachten, um einen größt-
möglichen Schutz des Benutzers zu gewährleisten (Handschuhe
sollten ausreichend groß sein, nicht zu weit oder zu eng).
9. Aufbewahrung und Transport
In gut belüfteten, trockenen Räumen. Extreme Temperaturen,
Kontakt mit Flüssigkeiten oder UV-StrahIung (z. B. Schaufenster)
vermeiden. Das Produkt ist in einem Kunststoffbeutel geschützt zum
Transport verpackt. Zur Aufbewahrung diesen entfernen
(Feuchtigkeitsstau).

STIHL Protective Gloves for Chain Saw Users
To guarantee the best possible protection and comfort when using this
safety product it is essential that you read and observe the following
information:
1. Warning!
No safety equipment can provide 100% protection against injury from
a power tool (e.g. chain saw).
The degree of protection depends on many different factors (e.g.
engine speed and torque, intensity and duration of contact with the
tool, etc.).
In compliance with the manufacturer's instructions, chain saw must
always be held firmly with both hands during operation.
These protective gloves are no substitute for safe working
techniques. Improper use of the power tool can cause accidents. For
this reason it is essential to observe the safety regulations issued by
the relevant authorities (employers' liability insurance associations,
etc.) and the safety warnings and instructions in the instruction
manual of the power tool being used.
Before each use, check the condition of the gloves (e.g. optical
condition of product). Discard the gloves immediately if they are
damaged or have been modified.
2. STIHL protective gloves require special treatment and care to
maintain their protective function.
Cleaning:
If heavily soiled, wash by hand in soapy water and then rinse
thoroughly. Dry at room temperature, not near a source of heat. Treat
regularly with a leather conditioner (water-repellent, keeps leather
moisturized).
Improper cleaning and care may have a negative influence on the
product’s protective function. Please follow the cleaning and care
instructions.
Any modification of the product may have a negative influence on its
protective function. For this reason do not attempt to modify the
product in any way. Immediately discard products that have been
modified.
This protective product has been designed for the users of handheld
chain saws. It does not provide protection against other risks (e.g.
other areas of operation such as construction work, contact with
electric energy / current, when operating cut-off machines, pressure
washers, etc.).

3. Ensure that these protective gloves are not damaged by pointed or
sharp objects (saw chain, metal tools, etc.), aggressive substances
such as animal excrement, acids, oil, solvents, fuel, etc., since the
material may otherwise be damaged.
Also avoid contact with hot objects (exhaust muffler, etc.) and other
sources of heat (open fire, stoves, etc.).
Warning!
If the protective gloves are smeared with fuel, oil, grease or other
flammable substances while working, change gloves before
continuing work. Fire hazard! Clean the gloves as described above
before reusing.
4. No repairs allowed.
Discard immediately if damaged.
5. Criteria for replacement:
Do not continue using protective gloves with a damaged surface or a
cut-retardant inlay that has been modified or damaged (reduced or no
protective function).
To take account of wear, we recommend the product be replaced
after no more than 2 years if worn regularly (several times per month)
or after no more than 5 years if worn occasionally (also because of
material aging).
6. These protective gloves comply with EC Directive 89/686/EEC,
European standard EN 381-7:1999
("Protective clothing for users of handheld chain saws, requirements
for protective gloves").
7. Weight
One pair of gloves weighs

8. Choosing the right size
It is important to choose the right size in order to ensure maximum
protection for the user (gloves should be sufficiently large, but neither
too loose nor too tight).
9. Storage and transport
In a well ventilated, dry place. Avoid extremes of temperature and
exposure to liquids or UV light (e.g. shop window). The product is
packed in a protective plastic bag for transport. It must be removed
from the bag for storage (to avoid build-up of moisture).

Gants de protection STIHL pour utilisateurs de tronçonneuses
Pour garantir la protection la plus efficace et le meilleur confort à
l'utilisation de cet équipement de sécurité, il est impérativement
nécessaire de tenir compte des informations suivantes.
1. Attention !
Aucun équipement de sécurité ne peut offrir une protection absolue
contre les blessures occasionnées par les dispositifs à moteur
(par ex. par la tronçonneuse).
Le degré d'efficacité de la protection dépend de très nombreux
facteurs (par ex. régime et couple du moteur, intensité et durée du
contact avec l'outil de travail etc.).
Conformément aux instructions du fabricant, la tronçonneuse en
marche doit toujours être tenue à deux mains
Ces gants de protection ne dispensent pas d'appliquer une technique
de travail de sécurité. L'utilisation inadéquate de la machine peut être
à l'origine d'accidents. C'est pourquoi il faut impérativement
respecter les règles de sécurité des services compétents (caisses
d'assurances mutuelles et autres) et suivre aussi les indications de la
Notice d'emploi de la machine utilisée.
Avant d'utiliser cet équipement de protection, s'assurer qu'il est dans
un état impeccable (par ex. contrôle visuel de l'état du produit).
Éliminer immédiatement ce produit s'il présente des dommages ou a
subi des modifications.
2. Pour assurer la fonction de sécurité prévue, les gants de protection
STIHL nécessitent un traitement spécial et un entretien particulier.
Nettoyage :
Si nécessaire, lorsque les gants sont très sales, les laver à la main
dans une lessive au savon. Ensuite, les rincer soigneusement. Ne
pas les faire sécher à proximité d'une source de chaleur (mais les
laisser sécher par ex. dans un local tempéré). Les traiter
régulièrement avec un produit d'entretien pour cuirs (hydrofuge et
regraissant).
Un nettoyage ou un entretien inadéquat peut avoir une influence
négative sur l'effet de protection du produit. Pour le nettoyage et
l'entretien, procéder exclusivement comme prescrit.
Toute modification apportée au produit peut avoir une influence
négative sur l'efficacité de la protection. C'est pourquoi il ne faut
apporter aucune modification à ce produit. Si ce produit a fait l'objet
de modifications, il doit être immédiatement mis au rebut.

Ce produit de protection est conçu pour être utilisé lors de travaux
avec des tronçonneuses portables. Il n'offre pas d'effet de protection
contre d'autres dangers (par ex. dans d'autres domaines d'utilisation
tels que le bâtiment, en cas de contact avec de l'énergie / du courant
électrique, ni pour les travaux avec des découpeuses à disque ou
des nettoyeurs haute pression etc.).
3. Éviter que ces gants de protection entrent en contact avec des objets
pointus ou acérés (chaîne de tronçonneuse, outils métalliques etc.)
ou avec des substances agressives tels que des excréments
d'animaux, des acides, de l'huile, du solvant, du carburant et autres,
afin que leur matière ne risque pas d'être endommagée.
En outre, il faut éviter tout contact avec des objets très chauds
(échappement ou autres) ou avec d'autres sources de chaleur (feu
nu, poêles de chauffage ou autres).
Attention !
Si au cours du travail les gants de protection ont été mouillés par du
carburant, de l'huile, des graisses ou d'autres substances
combustibles ou inflammables, il faut impérativement changer de
gants avant de poursuivre le travail. Risque d'incendie ! Avant de
réutiliser ces gants, il faut les nettoyer comme prescrit.
4. Aucune réparation possible.
En cas d'endommagement, mettre immédiatement ce produit au
rebut.
5. Critères de mise au rebut :
Il ne faut pas continuer d'utiliser ces gants de protection si leur
surface est endommagée ou si leur garniture anticoupure a été
modifiée ou endommagée (plus d'effet de protection !).
Nous recommandons de remplacer le produit en fonction de l'usure :
en cas d'utilisation régulière (plusieurs fois par mois), au bout de
2 ans au maximum. En cas d'utilisation occasionnelle, au bout de
5 ans au maximum (également à cause du vieillissement des
matières).
