If your stool was mishandled in shipping, one or both of the side legs
may have become disconnected from the stool.
DO NOT worry. This is simple to fix.
You won’t need any tools. You just need a bit of patience to follow
these easy steps:
Fold-N-Stow Assembly
1. Lay the opened Fold-N-Stow Stool down with the top of the stool touching the
ground. (Note: the top of the stool is the side with the tread lines.)
2. Place the detached legs into proper position (the latch facing down, and the
rubber foot facing inward. (Note: this is only so you can perfectly see the proper
placement of the leg parts – when you begin to re-assemble the stool.)
3. Carefully pry the 2 pieces of the detached leg apart at the hinge, so the 2 parts
are separated.

4. Attach one part of the leg at a time, by sliding the 3 hinge holes over the 3 hinge
pins on the side.
5. Attach the other part of the leg on the other 3 hinge pins.
6. Make sure the flat surface on each part is facing outward, and the sides with all
the ribbed siding are facing inward. (Note: Use the pictures on the box, or other
images as a template for proper placement and direction.)

9. Lock the 2 hinge pieces in place by firmly snapping them together.
8. Open the stool back up, making sure the 6 leg hinge holes remain in place on each
of the 6 hinge pins. (Note the side hinges from both of the pieces should line up.)

10. Use the force of a soft rubber mallet, or step on the inside of the hinges to make
sure they engage completely into the slot. You should be able to hear them
“Click” into place and see the hinges completely nested together.
