SAFETY INFORMATION

Please read this manual carefully before

use and keep it for future reference.

1. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years

and over and persons with reduced physical, sensory

or mental capabilities or lack of experience and

knowledge if they have been given supervision or

instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe

way and understand the hazards involved.

2. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning

and maintenance must not be done by children

without supervision.

3. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced

by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly

qualied persons in order to avoid a dangerous

situation.

4. This appliance is intended for use in the home. Use it only for its intended

purpose. Do not use it for commercial purposes, in an industrial or

laboratory environment, or outdoors.

5. Before connecting the plug of the power supply to the mains socket,

make sure that the voltage indicated on the type plate is the same as the

voltage in your socket.

6. Connect the plug of the power cable only to a properly grounded mains

socket.

7. Before switching on the appliance, make sure it is correctly assembled

anddust container and lters are properly installed. Do not use the

appliance without a dust container or lters.

8. Pull the plug out of the socket before cleaning or servicing the appliance.

9. Do not expose the appliance to direct sunlight. Do not place the

appliance near open ames or appliances that are a source of heat.

10. Use only the accessories supplied with the appliance or recommended

by the manufacturer.

11. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the appliance, its

power cord or plug in water or any other liquid.

12. Route the power cord so that it does not touch a hot surface or sharp

objects. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or work

surface.

13. Do not block the vents while the appliance is switched on.

14. Do not use the appliance for vacuuming:

‐water or other liquids;

‐smouldering cigarettes, burning objects, matches or hot ashes;

‐ ammable or volatile substances;

‐sharp objects such as glass shards, needles, pins, etc.;

‐ our, wall plaster, construction materials;

‐large pieces of paper and plastic bags – these could clog the suction

aperture.

15. When vacuuming some types of oor coverings, an electrostatic charge

may be generated which poses no danger to the user.

16. Do not place the suction nozzle or tube against any part of the face or

body.

17. Switch off and unplug the appliance when not in use, if it stays

unattended, before cleaning, moving or storing. Always allow the

appliance to cool completely before cleaning, moving or storing it.

18. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged, has fallen, is not working

properly, or if the power cord or fork, hose, HEPA lter, or any other part

of the appliance is damaged. Do not use the appliance with damaged

accessories. Entrust the repair to an authorized service center only. The

appliance does not contain parts that can be repaired by the user. All

repairs, adjustments or other than normal maintenance may only be

carried out by a qualied authorized service person.

19. Unplug the appliance by pulling on the plug, not the cord. Otherwise,

the power cord or outlet may be damaged. We recommend holding the

cable by hand when winding.

sound power level A with respect to the reference sound power of 1 pW.

ASSEMBLY

Remove the vacuum cleaner and its accessories from the packaging. Before disposing

of the packaging, be sure to remove all components. Check the appliance and acces-

sories for damage.

In order to use the vacuum cleaner properly, it is necessary to fold it up. Proceed as

follows:

1. Insert the end of the exible hose into the inlet at the front of the vacuum cleaner

and turn it to the right.

2. Insert the other end of the exible hose into the wider end of the telescopic tube.

3. Insert the telescopic tube into the hole in the oor nozzle and turn it to secure it.

Note:

To disassemble the vacuum cleaner, reverse the procedure above.

USE

Before use, make sure the vacuum cleaner is folded correctly and the dust container is

empty and correctly installed in the vacuum cleaner.

1. Unwind the power cord from the back of the vacuum cleaner by pulling the plug.

There are two marks on the power supply cable. A yellow mark indicates that the

end of the power cable is approaching and a red mark indicates the end of the

power cable. Do not pull the supply cable beyond the yellow mark.

2. Put the plug in the wall outlet.

3. Press the on/off button and the vacuum cleaner starts.

4. Use the rotary control to adjust the suction power of the vacuum cleaner. Turning

the dial to the right to "MAX" increases the power, while turning it to the left to

"MIN" decreases the power.

5. You can also control the instant suction power via the sliding ap on the exible

hose handle. Opening the ap reduces suction, closing the ap increases suction.

6. When cleaning is complete, press the on/off button and the appliance will switch

off. Then unplug the power cord from the power outlet.

7. Press the button for winding the power cord and the power cord is automatically

wound. We recommend holding the power cord by the plug.

Note:

If the oor nozzle, telescopic tube or exible hose is blocked by a foreign

object, the blockage must be removed immediately to prevent dirt from

accumulating and damaging the vacuum cleaner due to overheating.

Switch off the vacuum cleaner, disconnect it from the power supply, dis-

assemble it and remove the cause of the blockage.

Telescopic tube length adjustment

Adjust the length of the telescopic tube as required. Release and hold the lock on the

telescopic tube and adjust the length of the telescopic tube by pulling or pulling the

inner part of the telescopic tube. Then release the safety catch and pull the tube out a

little until you hear a click. This will ensure length.

Using the oor nozzle

The oor nozzle is suitable for vacuuming all types of oor coverings and carpets. De-

pending on the type of surface, extend/retract the bristles in the oor nozzle. A ap on

the oor nozzle is used to extend/retract the bristles.

To vacuum smooth oor coverings (oating oors, lino, parquet, etc.), slide the bristles

out of the oor nozzle.

Insert the bristles to vacuum carpets, runners, rugs, etc.

Using the slotted nozzle

The slotted nozzle is suitable for vacuuming dust and dirt from narrow spaces, corners

and hard-to-reach places on the oor or at height.

Using the brush nozzle

The brush nozzle is suitable for vacuuming dust and dirt from furniture, upholstery,

but also from fragile objects, curtains, etc.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Always switch off the appliance, disconnect the power cord plug from the electrical

outlet prior to cleaning or any maintenance.

Warning:

Never immerse the appliance, the power cord or the plug of the power

cord in water or any other liquid.

Emptying the dust container

Empty the dust container after each use. If the amount of dirt reaches the MAX mark,

the dust container must be emptied immediately.

1. Hold the dust container with one hand and press the button with the other hand

to release the dust container.

2. Pull the dust container out of the vacuum cleaner.

3. Move the dust container over the dustbin so that the bottom of the container is

pointing downwards.

4. Release the lock on the bottom of the dust container. This opens and the contents

are emptied directly into the bin.

5. Close the bottom of the container with your hand. The correct placement of the

cover is signalled by a snap.

Note:

From a sanitation perspective, it is best to empty the dustbin outside

living areas.

Cleaning the dust container

Clean the dust container regularly to prevent the formation of unpleasant odours.

1. Remove the dust container and empty it according to the instructions above.

2. Release the lock on the dust container lid and tip it backwards.

3. Remove visible debris from the top of the inlet microlter.

4. Remove the inlet microlter, the foam lter and the lter unit.

5. Wash the dust container with lid, inlet microlter, foam lter and lter unit in warm

water. Wipe dry and allow the lters to dry properly.

6. Insert the lter unit into the container, t the foam lter and then the inlet

microlter.

7. Close the lid. Push it gently until you hear a click.

8. Place the dust container in the vacuum cleaner.

Warning:

Do not use the vacuum cleaner without properly inserted lters or with

wet or damp lters. Before using the vacuum cleaner, always make sure

that the container is properly assembled and inserted correctly in the

vacuum cleaner.

Output HEPA lter cleaning and replacement

It is important to clean and change the HEPA output lter regularly to ensure the vac-

uum cleaner is working properly.

1. Loosen the latch of the protective grille at the rear of the vacuum cleaner and

remove it.

2. Remove the HEPA lter. Shake it out or vacuum the dirt with a vacuum cleaner

with a brush nozzle attached and set to low power.

Warning:

Do not wash the outlet HEPA lter. The lter should not be machine

washed or dried.

3. Check if the HEPA outlet lter is not damaged. If it is, replace it with a new one.

4. Put the HEPA lter back in the vacuum cleaner and put on the protective grille.

Correct locking is indicated by a click.

Warning:

Do not use the vacuum cleaner without a properly inserted HEPA output

lter or use it if the HEPA output lter is damaged or heavily soiled.

Motor lter cleaning

The motor lter is located in the body of the vacuum cleaner under the dust container.

First remove the dust container from the vacuum cleaner and then remove the motor

lter. Shake it out or wash it under running water and let it dry freely. Put the motor

lter and dust container back into the vacuum cleaner.

If the lter is worn out or damaged, replace it with a new one.

Note:

For hygienic reasons, we recommend tapping the lter outside of the

living area.

Cleaning the vacuum cleaner and accessories

Wash the external surface of the grill and the grill plates with a soft, slightly wet

sponge. Wipe with dry dish towel.

Regularly remove hair and hair from the bristles of the oor nozzle to ensure consist-

ent suction power.
