Lock/Unlock the control panel
The wine cooler is equipped with the function of automatically locking the control
panel after 20 seconds of inactivity.
Press the lock button to unlock the control panel.
Interior lighting
Activate the interior lighting by briey pressing the lighting/change temperature units
button. Repeated brief press will turn off the light.
The interior lighting will automatically turn off after 10 minutes of inactivity.
Change of temperature units
Press and hold the light/temperature unit change button to change from °C to °F. To
change the units back to °C, press and hold the light/change temperature unit button.
Display stability
°C units: When the temperature measured by the temperature probe is within ± 1 °C of
the set temperature, the display will show the set temperature value.
°F units: When the temperature measured by the temperature probe is within ± 2°F of
the set temperature, the display shows the set temperature value.
Defrosting
Defrosting occurs automatically by interrupting the operation of the wine cooler.
• SGR-WC-G281B: If the compressor is in continuous operation for 12 hours, the
operation of the compressor is interrupted for 40 minutes.
• SGR-WC-G331B: If the compressor is in continuous operation for 8 hours, the
operation of the compressor is interrupted for 45 minutes.
Power outage
If the power supply is interrupted, the settings will be saved in the wine cooler's
memory, and after the power is restored, the wine cabinet will start with the original
settings.
Recommendations for proper wine storage
The wine cooler is intended exclusively for storing wine in bottles. It is not intended for
storing food, frozen products, medications, etc.
The recommended set temperature to ensure maximum performance is:
• 12 °C (SGR-WC-G331B, SGR-WC-G281B).
The location of the shelves from the factory represents the most efcient use and
energy consumption when using the wine cooler.
If the ambient temperature is 25°C and the wine cooler is empty, it will take about
30 minutes for the temperature to rise from 5°C to 12°C. However, under the same
conditions, it will take about an hour for the temperature to drop from 12°C to 5°C. The
smaller the temperature range, the faster you reach the set temperature.
For SGR-WC-G331B model only:
The temperature in the upper zone must be lower than the temperature in the lower
zone.
The recommended set temperature of the wine cooler is 12 °C. In this case, the power
consumption is 0.373 kWh/24 hours (SGR-WC-G331B); 0.397 kWh/24 hours (SGR-WC-
G281B). If the set temperature is lower, the energy consumption will be lower. If the set
temperature is higher, the energy consumption will be higher.
