CONCRETE MOUNT KIT (MKC17)
STEP 1 Bolt Expansion Concrete Anchors
Final installation hardware should be determined by and professionally installed by a license
contractor. During installation, make sure all base plate holes align with drilled holes in
concrete. Clean out each hole of all debris. Insert (4) expansion concrete anchors into holes
and tap the fastener lightly with a hammer to ensure they are seated correctly. When using
supplied expansion concrete anchors, make sure thread side is down, towards the bottom of
the hole and they are flush with the concrete slab.
STEP 2 Bolt Base Plate
Set base plate over expansion concrete anchors. Insert (4) countersunk bolt anchors through
base plate and into the expansion concrete anchors. Tighten all (4) countersunk bolt anchors
with hex wrench (not included).
STEP 3 Bolt Internal Stem
Align internal stem holes with base plate holes. Insert (5) stem bolts and tighten using hex
wrench to secure. Note: Internal stem, stem bolts and hex wrench are included with
umbrella.
You are now ready to install your umbrella!
REMOVAL:
To remove your umbrella for seasonal storage or to move it to another base plate or
in-ground fitting, simply undo the stem bolts and remove the umbrella from the base plate.

IN-GROUND FITTING KIT (MKG17)
STEP 1 Preparation
Dig an approximate 60 cm/2 ft. deep by 90 cm/3 ft. wide hole. Insert in-ground fitting and
pour mixed concrete into hole around fitting. Make sure in-ground plate is level.
Note: Do not get slurry in the screw threads. Either apply tape over the holes on both sides
of the fitting or place the stem bolts in the threads and remove them when the concrete is
almost set.
STEP 2 Bolt Internal Stem
Once concrete has cured, attach internal stem to in-ground fitting using (5) stem bolts and
hex wrench. Note: Internal stem, stem bolts and hex wrench are included with umbrella.
Tighten all (5) stem bolts with supplied hex wrench.
You are now ready to install your umbrella!
REMOVAL:
To remove your umbrella for seasonal storage or to more it to another base plate or
in-ground fitting, simply undo stem bolts and remove the umbrella from the in-ground fitting.
