What's in the box:
1. Description:
It will enable user to install Front Camera, Reverse Camera, Right Side Camera
and Left Side Camera. This will enable the driver to eliminate blind spots while
driving and parking.
Interface will automatically generate power supply for all the added camera's
[12V, Max 3A].
The interface can be used in many different scenario's like when only installing
reverse camera (with dynamic OE style guidelines), When installing 360 view
systems, When installing only front camera, When installing Front, Right and Left
camera's and lastly when installing Front, Right, Left and Reverse camera's.
*NOTE: Please refer to DIP setting for different settings of interface.

selecting the desired Dips if other camera's
not needed.
Parking Sensor will be displayed with the
reverse guidelines and reverse camera.

Triggered Automatically after moving out from
Reverse gear to Drive for 5 sec. (Check Dip
settings)
Triggered Automatically after turning off turn
signals and will be shown for 5 sec. (Check Dip
settings)
Left camera will be triggered
when the left turn signal is
activated.
Left camera will turn off when
turn signal is turned off.
Turn signal is read from CAN so
no Power cable is needed from
turn lights.
Right camera will be triggered
when the right turn signal is
activated.
Right camera will turn off when
turn signal is turned off.
Turn signal is read from CAN so
no Power cable is needed from
turn lights.
2. Camera Interface Functions:
The Reverse Camera is automatically triggered when engaging the reverse
gear of the car. The display is also equipped with dynamic reverse
guidelines which help guide the driver while reversing the car. If car is
equipped with parking sensors, They will be displayed with the reversing
image.
The Guidelines are accurate as CAN code is used to generate them using
the steering wheel position as a reference.
The front camera is automatically displayed for 5 seconds when user
switches out of reverse gear. It will also be displayed for 5 seconds after the
turn signals are turned off.
The Right and Left camera's will be triggered with the turn signals and will
automatically turn off once turn signals are turned off.
Check the video inputs and check if the video is positioned correctly. If not please
use the OSD menu to configure the H-size and V-Size of the displayed picture. All
video inputs can be adjusted separately and settings will be remembered for each
input to ideally fit the display.

3.Installation:
Installation of this interface is very easy as it is completely plug and play. There is
no need to open the radio to insert any PCB etc.
Each Mercedes car model has a different process to open the dashboard
panel. (Please check the Car manufacturers manuals to know how to open
the dashboard and access the panels).
All the installation will be done behind the CD/HU. This makes installing the
interface very simple and easy. Just connect Power Harness and Video LVDS
harness and set the DIP settings.
The Power Harness will be removed from behind the CD and our harness
will be installed in the harness. The removed cable will be inserted here.
Power and Ground will be connected to the yellow and black wire
separately.
Connect 12V Power

*NOTE: Make sure that the power harness has been connected securely if not connected
properly there may be problems in power being sent to the interface .
In order to install the
interface you will need
to open the center
console to gain access
to the HU/CD unit.
Once gaining access
you will need to
remove the main
harness and insert our
harness in it and insert
the OE harness into
our plug in order to
complete the T-
Harness and insert the
Big Harness back into
the HU.
You will need to
connect the 4 Pin LVDS
video in the same
manner.
In order to know the
correct LVDS to
connect please
remove one by one to
see which one of them
once removed make
the OE LCD go black.

5. Camera Connection:
All camera's will be connected with the green wire. It can provide 12V/3A
which is sufficient to supply power for the 3 or 4 camera's.
OEM Style and Blind spot camera's with sensors are also available.

8. Other Uses of Interface and their DIP settings:
In case interface is used only for adding only Reverse Camera or external
360 Surround View System:
Interface Dip 1, 2, 3,4 set to= UP (OFF)
Interface Dip 5 set to= DOWN (ON)
In case interface is used only for adding Front Camera and car is equipped
with OE reverse camera:
Interface Dip 5 set to= UP (OFF) (This sets interface to show OE camera in
reverse gear)
CAN Dip 1 set to= UP (OFF) (This sets interface to show Front camera
when car is taken out of reverse and put into drive)
In case interface is used for Front, Right and Left Camera and car is
equipped with OE reverse camera:
Interface Dip 5 set to= UP (OFF) (This sets interface to show OE camera in
reverse gear)
CAN Dip 1 set to= UP (OFF) (This sets interface to show Front camera
when car is taken out of reverse and put into drive)
Or
CAN Dip 1 set to= DOWN (ON) (If User desire to show front camera after
turning off turn signals and when taken out of reverse gear and put into
drive)
*NOTE: All the camera's can be powered by the green wire[12V, Max 3A]. There will be power to
the camera only in the case of triggered state. In not triggered state it will carry 0V.
**NOTE: Incase the CAN code has changed in some car models(in some rare case) User can
install the interface without using the Power harness and connect the power directly to ACC and
green wire given power separately for triggering the camera's.
