Wir gratulieren Ihnen zum Kauf der seliger® AQUA-STAR.
Die seliger® AQUA-STAR ist eine Unterwasserbeleuchtung, mit der Sie in Ihrem
Wasserspiel stimmungsvolle Effekte erzielen. Sie erfordert eine minimale, jedoch für die
korrekte Funktion wichtige Wartung.
Bitte lesen Sie diese Ge brauchs an lei tung vor der Inbetriebnahme aufmerksam
durch!

HALOGENLEUCHTE AUSWECHSELN
Ziehen Sie das Steckernetzgerät aus der Steckdose und warten Sie das abkühlen des
Halogenstrahlers ab. Nehmen Sie den Halogenstrahler aus dem Wasser. Vor dem
Abziehen des Glaskolbens trocknen Sie das Gehäuse vollständig ab.
ACHTUNG: Das Leuchtmittel nicht mit den Fingern berühren, verwenden Sie ein
weiches Tuch.
Ziehen Sie das defekte Leuchtmittel aus der Fassung heraus und ersetzen Sie es durch
eine neues ( 12 V G4 /max 10 W ).
Führen Sie den Halogenleuchtensockel wieder in den Glaskolben ein, bis er fest anliegt.
Somit ist der Halogenstrahler wasserdicht verschlossen.

Beachten Sie beim Gebrauch des Halogenstrahlers fol gen de
Si cher heits vor chrif ten:
• Entfernen Sie vor Inbetriebnahme der AQUA-STAR die Schutzkapsel von der Beleuch-
tung
• Bevor Sie die AQUA-STAR berühren, vergewissern sie sich, dass sie ausgeschaltet
und abgekühlt ist.
• Die Beleuchtung darf nur mit dem mit ge lie fer ten Ori gi nal-Steckernetzgerät betrie-
ben werden.
• Ziehen Sie vor dem Berühren/Ent fer nen des Ha lo gen strah ler aus dem Wasser immer
erst das Stec ker netz ge rät aus der Steck do se.
• Weisen der Halogenstrahler, die Zuleitung oder das Steckernetzgerät mechanische
Schäden auf, darf das Gerät nicht mehr be trie ben werden.
• Für Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachtung der Si cher heits vor schrif ten verursacht
werden, sowie für Schäden an P an zen und Tieren über neh men wir keine Haftung.
• Wird die AQUA-STAR über Wasser betrieben, entwickelt sie eine hohe Wärmeaus-
strahlung. Vermeiden sie Wärmeemp ndliche Gegenstände unmittelbar in der Nähe
der Beleuchtung.

GARANTIEBEDINGUNGEN
Für dieses Gerät übernimmt die Firma seliger® eine Garantie von 24 Monaten,
gerechnet ab Verkaufsdatum des Händlers.
Innerhalb der Garantiezeit beseitigt die Firma seliger® unentgeltlich alle Mängel, die
auf Material- oder Herstellungsfehlern beruhen, durch Reparatur oder Austausch des
defekten Gerätes.
Von der Garantie ausgenommen sind Leuchtmittel sowie Schäden, die auf
unsachgemäßen Gebrauch, auf Verschleiß oder auf Eingriffe Dritter zurückzuführen sind.
Die Garantie umfaßt nicht Verbrauchsmaterialien und auch nicht die jenigen
Mängel, die den Wert oder die Gebrauchstauglichkeit des Gerätes nur unerheblich
beeinträchtigen.
Senden Sie im Garantiefall bitte das komplette Gerät (AQUA-STAR und Netzgerät)
zusammen mit der vollständig ausgefüllten Garantiekarte und dem Kaufbeleg ein.

Congratulations on purchasing the seliger® halogen lamp AQUA-STAR.
The seliger® underwater lighting AQUA-STAR allows to create fascinating effects in
water plays. Its maintenance is minimal, but important for the correct function.
Before putting the AQUA-STAR into operation, please read the operating
instructions carefully.

SECURITY INDICATIONS
When using the AQUA-STAR, the following security indications must be
observed:
• Before putting the AQUA-STAR into operation, remove the protection cap of the
lighting.
• Use the AQUA-STAR only with the original transformer supplied.
• Risk of burns! Before touching the AQUA-STAR, switch it off and wait until it
has cooled down.
• Before touching the AQUA-STAR, disconnect the power plug from the wall
socket.
• Do not use the AQUA-STAR when the device, the connecting cable or
the transformer shows signs of mechanical damage.
• As the AQUA-STAR heats up very much when used above the water, keep heat-sen-
sitive objects away from it.
• Only use original spare parts of seliger®.
seliger® assumes no liability for damage caused by non-observance of the security
indications and for damage caused to plants or animals.
Remove before use!
EXCHANGING THE HALOGEN LAMP
Pull the Transformer from the socket and wait until the Halogen lamp cools. Take the
halogen lamp out of the water. Dry the halogen lamp completely before removing the
glass head-piece.
Attention: Do not touch the bulb with your ngers, use a soft cloth.
Pull the defective bulb out of the lamp holder and change it for a new one (12V G4 /
max 10 W).
Insert the Halogen light with base in the glass head-piece until it ts correctly. The
halogen lamp is now closed completely and can be returned into the water.

Your AQUA-STAR is guaranteed for a period of 24 months after the date of purchase.
Within the warranty period, seliger® undertakes to repair or exchange free of charge
all components which fail to operate as a result of defects in manufacture or materials.
The warranty excludes the bulb and damage caused by incorrect use, by wear-and-tear
and by intervention of third persons.
To make a claim under this warranty, please return the complete device (AQUA-STAR
and transformer) together with proof of purchase and the warranty form correctly lled
out. Only returns with carriage paid can be accepted.

NORMES DE SÉCURITÉ
Lors de l’utilisation du AQUA-STAR il faut observer les normes de sécurité
suivantes:
• Avant la mise en service de l’AQUA-STAR, enlevez la capsule de protection de
l’éclairage.
• N’utilisez le AQUA-STAR qu’avec le transformateur original fourni.
• Risque de brûlures. Avant de toucher le AQUA-STAR, mettez-le hors
fonction et attendez jusqu’à ce qu’il se soit refroidi.
• Avant de toucher le AQUA-STAR, retirez d’abord la che de la prise de
courant.
• N’utilisez pas le AQUA-STAR quand l’appareil, le câble d’amenée ou le
transformateur présente des dommages mécaniques.
• N’utilisez que des pièces de rechange originales seliger®.
• Comme l’AQUA-STAR se chauffe beaucoup quand elle est utilisée sur l’eau, tenez
les objets sensibles à la chaleur éloignés.
La société seliger® ne répond pas des dommages causés par inobservation des
normes de sécurité et des dommages causés aux plantes ou aux animaux.
Enlever avant l‘utilisation!
REMPLACEMENT DE LA LUMIÈRE HALOGÈNE
Débrancher la prise et attendre jusqu‘au refroidissement de la lumière halogène. Sortir
la lumière halogène de l‘eau. Veuillez essuyer la lampe soigneusement avant d‘ôter la
douille en verre.
Attention: Ne pas toucher la lampe avec les mains, utiliser un chiffon doux.
Ôter l‘ampoule défectueuse et la remplacer par une nouvelle (12V G4 / max 10W).
Introduire la lumière halogène dans la douille en verre jusqu‘à ce qu‘elle tienne
fermement. Par conséquent elle est imperméable.

La rme seliger® assure la garantie de cet appareil pendant 24 mois à compter de la
date d‘achat.
Durant ce temps de garantie de 24 mois, la rme seliger® prend en charge, à titre
gracieux, tous les défauts provenant de vices de fabrication ou défauts de matériel: elle
les répare ou remplace l‘appareil défectueux.
La garantie exclut l’ampoule et les dommages causés par utilisation incorrecte, par
usure ou par intervention de tiers.
En cas de garantie, envoyer l‘appareil complet (AQUA-STAR et transfor-mateur)
accompagné de la carte de garantie et de la facture. Seuls les renvois port payé.

NORME DI SICUREZZA
Rispettate le norme di sicurezza seguenti nell’uso del AQUA-STAR:
• Prima della messa in funzione dell’AQUA-STAR, togliete la capsula di protezione della
luce.
• Usate il AQUA-STAR solo con il trasformatore originale che vi è stato fornito.
• Pericolo di bruciature! Prima di toccare il AQUA-STAR staccatelo dalla corrente e
aspettate che si rinfresca.
• Prima di toccare il AQUA-STAR togliete sempre la spina dalla presa di corrente
• Non utilizzate il AQUA-STAR quando l’apparecchiatura, il cavo di alimentazione o il
trasformatore presenta dei danni meccanici.
• Ritirate la spina dalla presa di corrente quando non volete utilizzare il AQUA-STAR
per un periodo di tempo lungo.
• Usate solo pezzi di ricambio originali di Black Forest Fountains.
• Giacché l’AQUA-STAR si riscalda molto quando è utilizzata sopra l’acqua, tenete
wwgli oggetti sensibili al calore lontano.
La ditta Black Forest Fountains non risponde dei danni causati dal mancato rispetto
delle norme di sicurezza e dei danni causati a piante o animali.
Togliere prima dell‘utilizzazione!
SOSTITUZIONE DEL FARETTO ALOGENO
Estrarre dalla presa il connettore di collegamento alla rete e attendere il
raffreddamento del faretto alogeno. Togliere dall’acqua il faretto alogeno. Prima di
rimuovere l’ampolla di vetro, asciugare completamente l’alloggiamento.
Attenzione: Non toccare con le dita la lampadina, utilizzare un panno morbido.
Rimuovere la lampadina difettosa estraendola dal portalampada e sostituirla con una
nuova (12V G4 / 10W max.).
Inserire nuovamente l’attacco del faretto alogeno nell’ampolla della lampadina no
a ssarlo correttamente. In questo modo il faretto alogeno è chiuso ermeticamente e
protetto dall’acqua.

materiali ed errori di costruzione tramite riparazione o sostituzione dell’apparecchiatura
difettosa, senza farVi carico di alcun costo.
La garanzia esclude la lampadina e i danneggiamenti causati dall’impiego incorretto,
dall’usura o dall’intervento di terze persone.
