a) PlugandconnectthepowercablestoSBOX’spowersupplyunit
b) ConnectaVGAmonitorandUSBkeyboard
c) Connecttheprimaryethernetcabletoethernetport1
d) Pressfrontpanel“powerbutton”(A).
Thebuttonmayneedtobepressedtwicethefirsttimetheapplianceisturnedon.
2.3ApplianceLogIn
Ifthe‘login’promptisnotvisibleontheconnectedmonitor,press‘enter’onthe
keyboardafewtimes.Theloginpromptshouldappear.
Forinitialsetup,logintotheapplianceasusersboxwiththedefaultpassword
changeme.Thispasswordcanbechangedoncetheapplianceisconfigured.

2.4.1DHCPSetup
DHCPisnotrecommendedforapplianceinstallations.Ifyouchoosetoutilizea
DHCPassignedaddress,simplylettheappliancebootupandanaddresswillbe
assigned.Toverifytheaddress,logontotheapplianceandrunthe“ipaddr”
command.

Manager.
2.4.2ManualNetworkSetup
Thefirstethernetportmustbeconfiguredbeforetheappliancecanbemanaged.To
doso,logontotheapplianceasdetailedinstep2.3andtypethecommand“setup”.
Youwillbewalkedthroughatextbasedsetupscreen.Whileallofthesesettings
canbechangedwithSBOXManager,itisimportanttogettheinitialnetworking
itemscorrectsotheappliancecanbeaccessed.
Afewnotesonnavigationinthesetupscreen:
● UseTABtoswitchbetweenscreenareas
● UsetheARROWkeystoswitchbetweenselectionelements
● UseSPACEorENTERtoselectanelement(ieDHCPorSTATIC)

modernwebbrowser,navigateto:
https://IP_ADDRESS_OF_APPLIANCE
A‘securityerror’mayappear.Dependingonyourbrowseryoumayhavetochoose
“proceedanyway”or“continue”forthepagetoload.
