Wait for 10 seconds after the pilot has lit before
releasing black button.
WARNING.Should the pilot fail to remain alight or go
out for any reason,intentionally or unintentionally,
alwayswait at least3minutesbeforetryingto relight the
pilot.
Withthe selector lever set totheleft theboiler willonly
supply domestic hot water.
Forcentral heating and domestichot water the selector
switch should be set to the right.
The controlthermostat knob should beturned to between
"MIN" and"MAX",checktemperature on temperature
gauge.
Check thatthebuilt in clock is "On" and set to the
correct time.
Check thatall remote controls are callingfor heat.
Note.The pressure gauge will register, when the system
isworking, between 1.5 to 2.0bar.
With the selectorswitch inthe central heating/domestic
hot water position domestic hotwaterwill
have PRIORITY.
Adjustment of the control thermostat knob will NOT
have any effecton thetemperature of the domestichot
water.
Temperaturecontrol for domestichotwater isdoneby
the amount ofwater FLOWING FROM THETAP,that
is, the greater the flow the lower thetemperature.
To Stop the Central Heating and Turn Off
Boiler,Leaving Pilot Alight.
Move the selectorswitch totheleft.Theboiler will now
only provide domestic hotwateron demand.
The pilot light remainsalight.
Complete Boiler Shut Down
Push in the red"OFF"buttonand thepilotwill go out.
Switch off the electrical supply.
To relight,follow the full lighting operation givenabove,
including, if fitted, resettingthe clock.
Toensurethe continued efficient and safe operation of
the boilerit isrecommended that it is checked and
servicedatregular intervals.The frequency of servicing
will depend upontheinstallation conditions and usage.
but in generalonce a year at the end of the heating
seasonshould be enough.
It isthelaw thatservicingis carriedout by a competent
person.
Protection Against Freezing
If theboiler istobe out of use for anylong periods
during severe weather conditions,itis recommended that
the whole system,includingtheboiler, be drained offto
avoid theriskoffreezing. Ifin doubt consult your
installation/servicing company.
Drainingand Filling
CAUTION. This boiler works ina pressurisedsystem
which mustonlybedrainedand filled by a competent
person.
Note. If there is persistent loss of system pressure,
indicated bythe pressure gauge YOU MUST
CONTACTYOUR INSTALLER.
Safety Valve
CAUTION. A safety valve with a discharge pipe is
fitted tothisboiler.
The valve MUST NOT BETOUCHEDexcept by a
competentperson.Ifthe valve discharges at any time,
switch the boileroff and isolate it from the electrical
supply. Contactyour installation/servicing company.
Cleaning
WARNING.The boiler contains metalparts
(components) and care should be taken when handling or
cleaning, with particular regard to edges.
Theboiler casing can be cleaned with a damp cloth then
adry cloth topolish.
Donot use abrasive orsolvent cleaners.

CAUTION.Donotremove or adjust the casing in any
way,asincorrectfittingmay resultin faulty operation.
