1.DESCRIPCIÓN
Kit (Ref. 54999) diseñado para trabajar montado en la gama de cor-
tadores eléctricos RUBI.
El kit incluye (pág. 58):
Unidad láser:
Marcador láser clase 2 con colimador.
Proyecta una línea recta de color rojo sobre la supercie de trabajo.
Este producto no es sumergible

Nivel de burbuja:
Indica la inclinación de la máquina.
Cuando la máquina está correctamente nivelada, la burbuja debe que-
dar dentro del círculo rojo.
2.FUNCIONAMIENTO
El pulsador rojo permite encender y apagar el dispositivo (g.A).
Verique que el láser incide con el disco en los dos extremos de la
mesa, en caso contrario proceda al ajuste como se indica en el punto 3.
Coloque la pieza a cortar sobre la mesa y encienda el láser.
El rayo de color rojo indica el corte aproximado de la pieza.

La velocidad de corte y la calidad del disco pueden desviar
el corte. La línea láser puede no coincidir con el corte nal.
Oriente la pieza como necesite.
Proceda al corte de la pieza y apague el dispositivo (g.6).
Apague siempre el dispositivo si no lo utiliza. Alargará la vida de las
baterías.
3.INSTALACIÓN
Unidad láser:
Apague el dispositivo antes de cualquier manipulación
La llave para cambiar las pilas no está incluida (destornillador Philips PH 1).
Desmonte los tornillos, las arandelas y la tuerca plana tal y como se
indica en la imagen (g.2).
Proceda a colocar las baterías como se indica en el punto 4.
Verique que el dispositivo funciona. Encienda y apague el dispositivo.
Proceda al montaje tal y como se indica en la siguiente gura. Apriete
los tornillos ligeramente (g.3).
Coloque el disco de corte de la máquina tal y como se indica en la
siguiente imagen.
Encienda el láser y desplácelo lateralmente hasta que el rayo de luz
incida con el disco.
Apriete uno de los dos tornillos y apague el láser (g.4).
Seguidamente, coloque el disco de corte al nal del recorrido de la
máquina.
Encienda el láser y oriéntelo hasta que el rayo de luz incida en el disco.
Apriete el otro tornillo (g.5).
Compruebe que el ajuste sea correcto. Desplace el disco de corte
y compruebe que el rayo de luz incide en el disco durante toda su
trayectoria.
Nivel de burbuja:
Oriente el niel hasta que los clips de jación coincidan con su aloja-
miento (g.1,2).
Presione suavemente el conjunto, hasta que toque con la pieza metálica.
Manipule el nivel con cuidado, los clips de jación se pueden romper.
Una vez instalado no lo manipule o intente desmontar, se podría romper.
Si la máquina no está preparada para instalar el kit, proceda tal y como
se indica a continuación:
Unidad láser:
4. 1. Haga 2 agujeros de Ø5 mm. (C) separados 35 mm. (A) y centrados
con la posición del disco (g.B-C).
2. La distancia B tiene que ser como mínimo de 75 mm. y respectar los
5 mm. como mínimo de la cota (D) (g.B-C).
El disco nunca debe tocar el dispositivo láser. Asegúrese an-
tes de hacer los agujeros que la cota D es, como mínimo, de 5 mm.
Nivel de burbuja:
1. Haga 1 agujero de Ø20.5 mm. lo más cercano al centro de la má-
quina (g.B-C).
4.CAMBIO DE BATERÍAS (g.1)
Apague el dispositivo antes de cualquier manipulación
Seque el láser antes de abrirlo.
Quite los 4 tornillos con un destornillador Philips de medida PH1.
Si el acceso es difícil, desmonte el láser de la máquina tal y como se
indica en el punto 3.
Quita la tapa y proceda a cambiar las baterías por unas nuevas (2
x AAA 1,5 V). Coloque las baterías tal y como se indica en la parte
posterior de la carcasa.
Nunca mire directamente la Fuente lumínica, puede provocar
lesiones perjudiciales para su salud.
Asegúrese que la junta está correctamente colocada en la tapa, y que
en el interior del láser no haya agua.
Vuelva a colocar los 4 tornillos.
Apriete con cuidado los tornillos, puede dañar la rosca de la carcasa.
Asegúrese que la tapa ha quedado correctamente colocada y que la
estanqueidad del láser se corresponde con la de fábrica. La tapa debe
estar en contacto con la carcasa y la junta no debe verse.
Una manipulación incorrecta puede afectar al correcto
funcionamiento del láser.
5.MANTENIMIENTO
Unidad láser:
Apague el dispositivo antes de cualquier manipulación.
Verique periódicamente que su unidad láser no presenta golpes ni
grietas. En caso que así sea, no la utilice.
Si disminuye la potencia del láser, cambie las baterías tal y como se

indica en el punto 4.
Limpie la carcasa exterior con un paño de algodón humedecido en
agua. No use detergentes, disolventes u otros productos de limpieza.
Verique periódicamente que el láser está ajustado a su máquina. En
caso contrario proceda tal y como se indica en el punto 3.
Si sospecha que el interior puede contener agua, proceda a desmon-
tarlo tal y como se indica en el punto 4.
Seque el interior de la carcasa con un paño seco de algodón. Antes
de volverlo a montar, espere un par de horas para que desaparezca
la humedad del interior.
No manipule nunca el diodo láser. En el caso que deje de
funcionar sin motivo aparente contacte con el Servicio Post venta
de Germans Boada S.A.
Nivel de burbuja:
El nivel no necesita mantenimiento.
Limpie el exterior con un paño de algodón humedecido en agua. No
use detergentes, disolventes u otros productos de limpieza.
No intente desmontarlo ni manipularlo, se podría romper.
La luz solar y el paso del tiempo, pueden degradar el color del líquido
interior, el funcionamiento no se verá afectado.
6.SEGURIDAD
Radiación láser. No mire jamente dentro del rayo. producto
láser de clase 2.
Evite trabajar en situaciones en las que un deslumbramiento del
láser pueda asustarlo o desconcentrarlo, provocando una situación de
riesgo para usted. Procure trabajar con una buena iluminación ambiental.
Precaución. El uso de controles o ajustes o la ejecución
de procedimientos distintos a los especicados en este manual
pueden provocar una exposición peligrosa a la radiación.

Do not immerse the laser Device into water

Spirit level:
Shows levelled position of the Machine.
When machine is properly levelled the bubble must be into the red
circle.
2.WAY OF USE
Push the red button to switch on/off the laser (g.A).
Checks that the laser trace is aligned with the blade’s trajectory in all
machine’s long, if not see user’s manual point 3.
Place the tile to cut on the table and switch on the laser.
The laser trace will show the tile cut.

The speed of cut and the blade quality could change the blade’s
trajectory. In this case the laser trace will not coincide with the nal cut.
Adjust the tile as need.
Cut the tile and switch off the laser device (g.6).
Switch off the laser device when not using it. You will improve bat-
teries life.
3.INSTALLATION
Laser device:
Switch off the Device before any manipulation
Tool for batteries substitution is not included (Screwdriver PH 1).
Remove the screws, washers and at nut as shown in the picture (g.2).
Insert batteries as shown in point 4.
Check device function. Switch in and off the device.
Fix the device on the machine as shown in following picture. Fix both
screws slightly (g.3).
Place the blade as shown in following picture.
Switch on the laser device and move sideways until the trace coincides
with the blade’s position.
Fix rmly one of the two screws and switch off the laser device (g.4).
Next, place the blade at the end of the cut capacity of the machine.
Switch on the laser device and adjust the position of the laser devi-
ce (moving around the xed screw) until the trace coincides with the
blade’s position.
Fix rmly the second screw (g.5).
Check that the adjustment is ok, by moving the blade along its trajec-
tory. The laser trace must coincide with the blade all the time.
Spirit level:
Clip the level on the holes by pressing slightly (g.1,2).
Be careful when xing the level, clips can be broken.
Once xed, do not try to remove or to manipulate. It can be broken.
In case the machine is not ready to install the kit, proceed as indicated:
Laser device:
1. Make 2 holes of Ø5 mm (C) at 35 mm (A) of each and centred to the
blade position (g.B-C).
2. B dimension should be minimum 75 mm and must respect the 5 mm
of the dimension D. (g.B-C).
8. The blade can never touch the laser device. Be sure before
making the holes, that the dimension D is at least 5 mm.
Spirit level:
1. Make 1 hole of Ø20.5 mm. closer as possible to centre of the ma-
chine (g.B-C).
4.BATTERIES REPLACEMENT (g.1)
Switch off the laser device before any manipulation
Checks that the laser device is totally dry before open it.
Remove the laser device from its place.
Remove all 4 screws with a PH1 screwdriver (not included).
Remove the back cover and replace old batteries by the new ones
(2xAAA 1,5V). Place the batteries as shown in the back of the cover.
Never stares in front of the laser beam, it could be harmful
for your health.
Be sure that the O-ring is proper placed on the cover and that there is
no water inside the laser device.
Fix the 4 screws rmly.
Be careful when xing the screws, tread can be damaged.
Check that the cover is placed properly, to assure the original water
tightness. The must touch the device’s body and the O-ring must be
hide.

5.MAINTENANCE
Laser device:
Switch off the laser Device before any manipulation.
Check periodically that the laser device is not damaged. If it’s
damaged, do not use it.
If beam’s power diminishes replace the batteries as shown in point 4.
Clean the device with clean and slightly wet cloth. Do not use deter-
gents or solvents or any other cleaning product.
Check periodically that the laser device is xed on the machine. If
not, follow point 3.
If water inside the device is supposed, disassemble it as shown
point 4.
Dry the device with a clean and dry cloth. Before assembly it again,
wait 2 hours to remove rest of humidity inside the device.

Do not manipulate the laser diode. If the device stops
working suddenly, please contact Germans Boada, S.A. after
sales service.
Spirit level:
Maintenance is not needed.
Clean the level with clean and slightly wet cloth. Do not use detergents
or solvents or any other cleaning product.
Once xed, do not try to remove or to manipulate. It can be broken.
Sunlight and age can deteriorate the liquid color, function will be no
affected.
6.SAFETY
Laser radiation. do not stare into beam. class 2 laser product.
Avoid working in situations where a ash of laser light could
startle you and make lose your concentration leading to a risk for
you. Try to work with good ambient lighting.
Attention. Use of controls or adjustments or performance
of procedures other than those specied herein may result in
hazardous radiation exposure.

2.FONCTIONNEMENT
Le bouton rouge permet d’allumer et d’éteindre le dispositif (g.A).
Vériez que le laser arrive sur le disque aux deux extrémités de la ta-
ble. Dans le cas contraire, procèdez à son ajustement, comme indiqué
dans le point 3.
Placez la pièce à couper sur la table et allumez le laser.
Le rayon de couleur rouge indique la découpe approximative de la pièce.
