5. Proper use
Use the RADEMACHER Heating Actuator exclusively:
◆for installation with Danfoss RA valves or valves with M 30 x 1.5 connections (K) using
the supplied adapter.
◆for radio control of RADEMACHER components based on Z-Wave technology.
Operating conditions:
◆Only use the heating actuator in dry rooms.
◆The installation and operation of the RADEMACHER radio system (and its components) is
only permitted for those systems and devices where a malfunction in the transmitter or
receiver would not cause a danger to personnel or property or where this risk is already
covered by other safety equipment.
NOTE
Radio systems which transmit on the same frequency can cause interference. See page 18,
Technical Specications, for transmission frequencies.
6. Improper use
Using the heating actuator for purposes other than previously mentioned is imper-
missible and is regarded as improper use.
◆Never use the existing radio system and its components for the remote control of ap-
pliances and systems with increased safety-relevant requirements or where there is
an accident risk. This shall require additional safety equipment. Observe the respective
statutory regulations for the installation of such systems.
The heating actuator is not suitable for:
◆use in hazardous environments.
◆environments where it is exposed to water.

iEN
The RADEMACHER Heating Actuator is an electronic radiator thermostat for controlling room
temperatures featuring a radio-control system based on Z-Wave technology.
They can either be congured individually on-site or via radio using a HomePilot® system.
In order to do so, the set temperature is exchanged and regulated via radio by means of the
HomePilot®. In addition, the HomePilot® can be used to set up and initiate scenes (reactions).
Please read the HomePilot® operating manual.
You can nd a detailed description of the navigation options and user interface for your
HomePilot® under the following URL:
http://homepilot.local/manual_de.pdf *
or in the downloads section of our website:

8. Information about logging on to the HomePilot®
◆The system must be logged in to the HomePilot® prior to installation. Carry out the
registration process in the immediate vicinity (maximum 4 metres) of the HomePilot®.
◆Each heating actuator can only be assigned to a single HomePilot®. First delete any possible
existing assignment to a dierent HomePilot® prior to logging-on the heating actuator
to your HomePilot®, see page 11.

In order to do so, select the "Reg-
ister devices" function from the
"Conguration" menu.
i
8.2 Extending the radio range
If the radio and alarm bell icons ash
on the display, there is either a problem with
the radio connection or the heating actuator
drive is out of radio range (see page 18, Technical
Specications).
4. Press briey 1 x.
Subsequently the entire display ashes in order to signalise the login process.
5. Save
Press "Save" in the HomePilot® user interface in order to conrm the assignment.
6. Subsequently mount the heating actuator on the desired radiator valve, see page 10.
You can use one or more repeaters (item no.
