Assemblingthewebguideontheendmachine
1) Fit the SU m-25 sensor on the webguide sensor holder bar:
¾Application with a micrometer bar (the SU m-25 sensor is already fitted on the micrometer
bar)
Fit the micrometer lock onto the sensor holder bar so that the outer side of the securing
bracket is aligned with the outer side of the sensor holder bar.
Tighten the two dowels under the securing bracket.
Screw up the positioners inserted in the slide until they are resting on the bar and then lock
them in place with the two nuts.
(All the locking elements are supplied already inserted in their relative housings)
To assemble the webguide wear safety gloves and boots and observe
all the safety norms required for the environment in which it is
installed.

¾Application without a micrometer bar
Fit the slide onto the sensor holder bar so that the sensor is in the required position
according to where the material will run.
Tighten the knob located under the sensor.
2) Fasten the WG251 SKB webguide to the machine structure using the 4 holes on the external box
support table using 4 x M6x10 screws (not supplied with the webguide).
The direction of the guide should be fixed according to the direction the material will run in (the
arrow on the frame of the webguide indicates the material feed direction).
Check that the infeed and outfeed machine rollers are parallel and on the same plane as the
webguide rollers.
Assemble the guide observing the safety distances between the webguide and the rest of the
machine, as stipulated in current normatives
Caution! It is important to secure the webguide before connecting it up electrically;
when making the electrical connections follow the instructions in the following section.

Attention!
To ensure this instrument functions correctly, wait for at least 5 seconds between
switching it off and switching it on again.
Important!
Use shielded power supply cables only, and connect the shield to the earth point
located on the MWG10 unit. The earth point (represented in the drawing), must be
connected to the machine frame by a cable, that must be as short as possible; the
cable section must be 6mm2minimum.
