SAFETY INFORMATION AND PRECAUTIONS
This machine has been designed and manufactured considering all reasonable user
safety precautions are adhered to, however, unforeseen circumstances can arise
which are beyond our control.
Pullman Espresso Accessories takes no responsibility for improper use or failure to
follow proper instructions and recommends the following protocols are adhered to
and practiced at all times:
All users should read this manual and familiarise themselves with correct
operating procedures and associated warnings before attempting to use
the InfiniTampTM.
The InfiniTampTM should be checked for damage that may have occurred
during shipping. Please contact Pullman Espresso or place of purchase
immediately if anomalies are detected.
Ensure correct care and use of the electrical power cord. Do not submerge
the cord or equipment in water or liquid and seek professional repair work if
any damage or breakage of the cord is discovered. Ensure the power cord is
removed from the electrical outlet prior to any maintenance.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
This appliance is not intended for use (including children) with reduced
physical or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
This appliance can be used by children from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the InfiniTampTM in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved.
Do not insert any object other than a portafilter head into the housing
where the tamping mechanism occurs.
Do not insert any objects into vents or openings.
Do not use in the vicinity of heat sources.
Always place the machine on a stable, flat, dry and even surface.

Always use correct posture when lifting or moving the InfiniTampTM.
The electrical supply power socket used must be compliant and compatible
with the instrument and plug supplied.
Modifications or alterations to the device will void the warranty and
Pullman Espresso accepts no responsibility for damage to the machine
during such activity.
APPLICATIONS AND PERSONNEL
This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments.
It is assumed that the operator will:
Use the machine solely for its intended purpose as an automatic tamper.
Keep this manual intact and accessible for the life of the instrument,
including any transfer to new owners.
Regard this manual as an essential training tool for all users of the
InfiniTampTM.
Use the machine in a safety-conscious manner.
Report any faults immediately to the place of purchase.

CHAPTER 1–USING THE PULLMAN INFINITAMPTM
1.1 INSTALLATION
Please ensure the following items are in the packaging box:
Pullman InfiniTampTM Automatic Coffee Tamper
Power cable
Brush
Allen key x 1
Product manual
DEVICE SET UP
Ensure all advice in Precautions and Safety have been read and
understood.
Unpack the InfiniTampTM and plug in to a
suitable power supply.
Switch on using the switch at the left rear of the external casing.
Ensure all elements of the display are visible as per diagram.

1.2 SETTING THE TIME AND DATE
Touch the date on the touch
screen and the change function
will show up.
Correct the date using the + or –
button, then press OK to save.
Repeat for the time setting.
Day of the week will automatically set according to date.

1.3 ADJUSTING THE INFINITAMPTM AND FIRST USE
Setting the level of the portafilter forks
Turn the InfiniTampTM switch to OFF
Slide your portafilter into the forks.
If your portafilter does not fit, use the
supplied Allen key to loosen the 2 screws at
the rear of the forks until the level
decreases and portafilter can be inserted.
At eye level, gauge distance to top of piston housing.
Remove portafilter and adjust height of forks using the Allen key
ensuring a horizontal finish and tight screws.
There should be no more than
1mm gap between the piston
housing and top of portafilter.
Once level is determined,
InfiniTampTM power switch may
be turned to ON.
WHILE MACHINE IS IN THE PROCESS OF TAMPING, DO NOT DISTURB OR
IMPINGE THE PISTON ACTION AT ALL.

Grind, distribute and tamp
Dose into the basket as per your recipe.
It is highly recommended to distribute or collapse the coffee into the
filter basket before guiding the portafilter into the forks. (Cleaning
will be required more often if grounds are not collapsed before
tamping)
Slide portafilter into housing until it stops. InfiniTampTM sensor will
detect and commence the tamp.
Remove portafilter and insert into espresso machine as per normal
operation.
Repeat.
Press RESET on the touch screen to return daily counter to zero for
next day operations.
