future reference. We reserve theright for any errors in text or images and any necessary

Note:

• Other wireless equipment using thesame frequency can reduce thetransmission range.

• Therange of all wireless equipment depends on thetype of obstacles located

between thetransmitter and thereceiver (e.g. aconcrete wall will interfere with

thesignal more than aplasterboard wall).

If you experience problems, try thefollowing:

• Turn off any existing wireless equipment to see if that could be causing theproblem.

• Move thewireless equipment and/or shorten thedistance and reduce thenumber

of obstacles (walls, furniture, etc) between thetransmitter and receiver.

Getting started

Note: Bear in mind that thesensor has arange of about 40 m (line of sight).

Thick walls, ﬂoors or ceilings between thesensor and themain unit could reduce

therange to 25 m.

1. Remove thebattery cover on theback of themain unit by sliding it upwards.

2. Insert 2×AA/LR6 batteries. Note: Note thepolarity markings in thebattery

compartment to ensure correct insertion.

3. Reﬁt thebattery cover.

4. Remove thebattery cover on theback of thesensor by sliding it downwards.

Set thechannel selector to channel 1.

5. Insert 2×AAA/LR03 batteries. Note: Note thepolarity markings in thebattery

compartment to ensure correct insertion.

6. Reﬁt thebattery cover.

When batteries have been inserted into themain unit,

thefollowing will be displayed:

a. Thechannel 1 signal icon

(updated every other minute)

b. Channel 1

c. Theindoor temperature and

relative humidity

d. Time

Display modes

If more than one outdoor sensor is connected to themain unit at Channel 2 or 3, two

display modes will be avaliable for selection. Press [ ▲ / /CHANNEL] to toggle between:

• Time display mode: Temp/humidity from sensor on channel 1,

indoor temp/humidity, time.

• Channel 1, 2 and/or 3 display mode: Temp/humidity from sensors on channels

1, 2 and/or 3.

Location

Both themain unit and theoutdoor sensor can be used

either freestanding or mounted on awall.

Press theincluded wall bracket/table stand into

thecorresponding mounting holes.

Main unit

• Themain unit has integrated temperature and moisture sensors.

• Be careful when placing theunit so that it is not located near heaters,

cookers, or other heat sources.

Outdoor sensor and transmitter

• Theexternal temperature and humidity sensors send readings of outdoor readings

back to themain unit.

• Theprobe measures thetemperature and thetransmitter measures thehumidity.

• To measure outdoor temperature and humidity readings, both theprobe and

transmitter must be placed outside.

• During extreme cold temperatures, thetransmitter is recommended to be placed

indoors due to therisk of battery failure. Theprobe however can be threaded

through awindow sill and gently closed. Remember though that your humidity

readings will then be inaccurate as indoor humidity levels are measured, rather

than outdoor readings.

and min values of temperature and humidity

Setting the clock

1. Hold in [TIME] for 2 seconds, “24 Hr” ﬂashes. Press [ ▲ ] or [ ▼ ] to select 12- or

24-hour time format.

2. Press [TIME] again – thehour digits will ﬂash. Set thehours using theup and down

buttons, [ ▼ ] and [ ▲ ]. Press and hold [ ▲ ] or [ ▼ ] to make thesetting quicker.

3. Press [TIME] again – theminute digits will ﬂash. Set theminutes using theup and

down buttons, [ ▼ ] and [ ▲ ]. Press and hold [ ▲ ] or [ ▼ ] to make thesetting quicker.

4. Press [TIME] again to exit thesettings mode and display thetime. If no button

is pressed within 10 seconds, thesettings mode will automatically be exited and

thetime will appear in thedisplay.

Note: When 12-hour time format is selected, the“P” icon will appear on thedisplay

to indicate PM. There is no AM indicator.

Setting the humidity alert levels

The symbol and avalue are displayed to warn you if therelative humidity rises

above or drops below theset alert levels.

1. To set theupper level: Hold in [ALERT/ON•OFF] until thehumidity value and

for channel 1 ﬂash (95% is thedefault factory setting). Use [ ▲ ] or [ ▼ ] to change

thevalue.

2. To set thelower level: Hold in [ALERT/ON•OFF] until thehumidity value and for

channel 1 ﬂash. Press [ALERT/ON•OFF ]. Thehumidity value and for channel

1 ﬂash (20% is thedefault factory setting). Use [ ▲ ] or [ ▼ ] to change thevalue.

3. Hold in and press [ALERT/ON•OFF]. Skip over thesettings for channel 1 and

input thesettings for any extra transmitters on channel 2 and 3.

Once all thesettings have been made thedisplay automatically reverts to normal

display mode if none of thebuttons is pressed.

Turning humidity level alert on/off

In the time display mode:

1. Press [ALERT/ON•OFF] twice to turn on thealert for channel 1.

2. Press [ALERT/ON•OFF] once more to turn on thealert for channel 2.

3. Press [ALERT/ON•OFF] once more to turn on thealert for channel 3.

4. Press [ALERT/ON•OFF] once more to turn on thealert for all channels.

5. Press [ALERT/ON•OFF] once more to turn off thealert for all channels.

In channel 1, 2 and 3 display mode:

1. Press [ALERT/ON•OFF] once to turn on thealert for channel 1.

2. Press [ALERT/ON•OFF] once more to turn on thealert for channel 2.

3. Press [ALERT/ON•OFF] once more to turn on thealert for channel 3.

4. Press [ALERT/ON•OFF] once more to turn on thealert for all channels.

5. Press [ALERT/ON•OFF] once more to turn off thealert for all channels.

Connecting extra sensors

1. Hold in [ ▲ / /CHANNEL] to enter thechannel selection mode. Theicons for

channels 1, 2 and 3 all appear on thedisplay - theicon for channel 1 will ﬂash.

2. Press [ ▲ / /CHANNEL] once again – thevalue digits for channel 2 will ﬂash.

3. Press and hold in [ ▲ / /CHANNEL] until thedigits for channel 2 disappear and

thechannel scan icon ﬂashes to indicate that themain unit is searching for

asignal from asensor set to channel 2.

4. Remove thebattery cover of thesensor which is to be set to channel 2 by

sliding it downwards.

5. Set thechannel selector to 2.

6. Insert 2×AAA/LR03 batteries.

7. Reﬁt thebattery cover.

8. Thetemperature and humidity data from thesensor set to channel 2 will appear

on thedisplay of themain unit after afew seconds.

Theabove steps can be repeated to set up asensor on channel 3.

Viewing the max and min temperature

1. Press [ ▼ /MAX-MIN] once to display themaximum temperature and humidity

readings. MAX is shown on thedisplay.

2. Press once more to display theminimum temperature and humidity readings.

MIN-MAX is shown on thedisplay.

3. To reset thereadings to zero, hold in [ ▼ /MAX-MIN] when therespective value

is displayed.

Care and maintenance

• There is anicon on thedisplay for each channel to indicate when thebatteries of

therespective sensor need replacing.

• Clean thethermometer/hygrometer using alightly moistened cloth. Only use mild

cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.

• Do not expose thethermometer/hygrometer to extreme heat, direct sunlight,

heavy blows, shocks or water.

• Do not place thethermometer/hygrometer in ahumid or dusty environment.

• Never try to open thecasing.

Troubleshooting guide

Incorrect or unreadable

values on thedisplay.

• Press [RESET] on thesensor and main unit to

reset them to factory settings. Theproblem could

be caused by static electricity or interference from

another wireless device.

Thedisplay shows “- -”. • Make sure that thesensor is set to thecorrect

channel.

• Hold in [ ▲ //CHANNEL] until theicon for channel

1 ﬂashes. Press [ ▲ / /CHANNEL] once again to

select another channel. Hold in [ ▲ //CHANNEL]

to synchronise with thesensor.

• Carefully press [RESET] on thesensor.

Disposal

This product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your local authority.

Tänk på:

• Att annan beﬁntlig trådlös utrustning på samma frekvensband kan påverka

räckvidden negativt.

• Att räckvidden på all trådlös utrustning påverkas av vilka hinder som ﬁnns mellan

sändaren och mottagaren (t.ex. en betongvägg dämpar signalen avsevärt mer än

en gipsvägg).

Vid funktionsproblem, prova följande lösningar:

• Stäng av övriga beﬁntliga trådlösa utrustningar för att kontrollera om de kan vara

orsaken till problemet.

• Flytta den trådlösa utrustningen och/eller förkorta avståndet, samt minska antalet

hinder (väggar, möbler etc.) mellan sändaren och mottagaren.

Att komma igång

Obs! Tänk på att givaren har en räckvidd på ca 40 m vid fri sikt. Om det ﬁnns tjocka

tak, väggar, golv m.m. mellan givare och huvudenhet kan räckvidden sjunka till 25 m.

1. Ta bort batteriluckan på baksidan av huvudenheten genom att skjuta den uppåt.

2. Sätt i 2×AA/LR6-batterier. Obs! Se märkningen i botten på batterihållaren så att

polariteten blir rätt.

3. Sätt tillbaka batteriluckan.

4. Ta bort batteriluckan på givaren genom att skjuta den neråt. Se till att kanalväljaren

står på kanal 1.

5. Sätt i 2×AAA/LR03-batterier. Obs! Se märkningen i botten på batterihållaren så

att polariteten blir rätt.

6. Sätt tillbaka batteriluckan.

När batterierna satts i visar huvudenheten:

a. Signalikon för kanal 1.

Uppdateras varannan minut.

b. Kanal 1

c. Luftfuktighets- och

temperaturvärden inomhus.

d. Klocka

Visningslägen

Om ﬂera givare anslutits till huvudenheten på kanal 2 och/eller 3 ﬁnns följande två

visningslägen att välja mellan. Tryck [ ▲ / /CHANNEL ] för att växla mellan:

• Tidvisningsläge: Temp/luftfuktighet från givare på kanal 1,

temp/luftfuktighet inne, klocka.

• Visningsläge för kanal 1, 2 och/ eller 3: Temp/luftfuktighet från givare på kanal

1, 2 och/eller 3.

Placering

Både huvudenheten och givaren kan monteras stående

eller på vägg. Använd medföljande ställ (som även fungerar

som väggfäste) och tryck det på plats i sina fästhål.

Huvudenhet

• Huvudenheten har inbyggda detektorer för temperatur och luftfuktighet.

• Placera därför enheten på sådant sätt att den inte utsätts för värme från element,

spisar eller andra värmekällor.

Utomhussensor med givare

• Givaren och sensorns uppgift är att skicka värden för temperatur och luftfuktighet

till huvudenheten.

• Sensorn mäter temperatur och givaren mäter luftfuktighet.

• För att temperatur och luftfuktighet utomhus ska kunna mätas måste alltså både

givare och sensor monteras utomhus.

• Vid kall väderlek kan givaren placeras inomhus och sensorn t.ex. hängas ut genom

ett fönster genom att försiktigt placera sensorkabeln mellan fönsterbåge och

fönsterkarm och sedan försiktigt stänga fönstret. Tänk då på att givaren mäter

luftfuktigheten inomhus där den är placerad.
