IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
Please read and understand this enre manual before aempng to assemble, operate or install the product.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for Class B digital devices, pursuant to part 15
of the FCC rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protecon against harmful interference in a
residenal installaon. The equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed
and used in accordance with the instrucons, may cause harmful interference to radio or television recepon,
which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on. The user is encouraged to try and correct the
interference by one or more of the following measures:
• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna
• Increase the separaon between the equipment and the receiver
• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

WARNING
When using electrical appliances, basic precauons should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric

• Read all instrucons before using this heater.
• To avoid injury from unexpected starng or electrical shock, DO NOT plug the power cord into a source of power
during unpacking and assembly. The cord must remain unplugged whenever you are adjusng / assembling the
item.
• If any part is missing or damaged, DO NOT aempt to use or plug in the power cord unl the missing or damaged
part is correctly replaced. To avoid electric shock, use only idencal replacement parts, and when servicing use
double-insulated tools.
• Whenever the item is le operang and unaended, extreme cauon is necessary if children or invalids are
nearby.
• Electrical outlet wiring must comply with local building codes and other applicable regulaons to
reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury to persons.
• Disconnect power before aempng any maintenance or cleaning to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock or
personal injury.
• This appliance is hot when in use. To avoid burns, DO NOT let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provided, use
handles when moving this heater. Keep combusble material, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes
and curtains at least 3 feet from this appliance and keep them away the sides and rear.

SAFETY INFORMATION
• The appliance is not to be used by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilies, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instrucon.
• DO NOT run cord under carpeng. DO NOT cover cord with throw rugs, runners or similar coverings. DO NOT
route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic areas and where it will not be tripped
over.
• DO NOT insert or allow foreign objects to enter any venlaon or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric
shock or fire, or damage the appliance.
• This appliance has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. DO NOT use it in areas where gasoline, paint or
flammable vapors or liquids are used or stored. This item should not be used as a drying rack for clothing.
Christmas stockings or decoraons should not be hung in the area of it.
• Use this appliance only as described in the manual. Any other use is NOT recommended by the manufacturer and
may cause fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
CAUTION
• Cold climate installaon recommendaon: When installing this unit against a non-insulated exterior wall or
chase, it is mandatory the outer walls be insulated to conform to applicable insulaon codes.
• Make sure the power is turned off before proceeding with motor maintenance. Any electrical repairs or rewiring
of this unit should be carried out by a licensed electrician in accordance with naonal and local codes.
• If repairing or replacing any electrical component or wiring, the original wire roung, color coding and securing
locaons must be followed.
• DO NOT use this item if any part of it has been under water. Immediately call a qualified service technician to
inspect the item and replace any part of the electrical system.
• To prevent a possible fire, DO NOT block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. DO NOT use on so surfaces, like
a bed, where openings may become blocked.
• Turn the power off when servicing this appliance. First turn the main power switch to the “OFF” posion. Then
remove the electrical plug from the wall outlet.
• If possible, ALWAYS unplug this appliance when not in use.
• DO NOT use outdoors.
• This item is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locaons. NEVER place heater
where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
• To disconnect this appliance, turn controls to the off posion, then remove plug from outlet.
• ONLY connect to properly grounded outlets.
• This appliance, when installed, must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes, with the current
CSA C22.1 Canadian Electrical Code or follow U.S.A. Installaons, follow local codes and the Naonal Electrical
Code, ANSI/NFPA N0.70.
• There is a thermostat limiter inside the item. When the inner temperature overheats or abnormal heang
occurs, the thermostat protecve device would cut off power supply to prevent damage or risk of fire.
• To prevent a possible fire, DO NOT block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. DO NOT use on so surfaces, like
a bed, where opening may become blocked.
• The heaters MUST NOT be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
• Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or aer the heater malfuncons, has been dropped or
damaged in any manner. Discard heater, or return to authorized service facility for examinaon and/or repair.
• Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power
tap (outlet/power strip).

SAFETY INFORMATION
Electrical Connecon
A 15-amp, 120-volt, 60 Hz circuit with a properly grounded outlet is
required. Preferably, the fireplace will be on a dedicated circuit as other
appliances on the same circuit may cause the circuit breaker to trip or
the fuse to blow when the heater is in operaon. The unit comes
standard with 6-. three-wire cord, exing from the rear of the
fireplace. DO NOT exceed the current rang of the current tap. ALWAYS
plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. NEVER use with an
extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
•
This heater is for use on 120 volts. The cord has a plug as shown
below. See illustraon for grounding instrucon. An adapter as shown
at C is available for connecng three-blade grounding type plugs to
two-slot receptacles. The green grounding lug extending from the
adapter must be connected to a permanent ground such as a properly
grounded outlet box. The adapter should not be used if a three-slot
grounded receptacle is available.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Power Switch
• Press this buon into the “I” posion for main power of the unit.
• Pressing the Heater buon to turn on or turn off the heater, when turn on the heater each me, heater
will be turn on at least one minute, when the ambient temperature is higher than the set temperature,
heat will turn off automacally.
Heater Buon
• To adjust the temperature to your individual requirements, turn the thermostat dial to the right
(clockwise) to increase the temperature and to the le to decrease the temperature. This thermostat
control dial can only be used while the power switch are in “I” posion and heater need turned on. When
the heater reaches the desired temperature, the heat will turn off. When the temperature dropped below
the selected temperature, heat will restart again.
Adjustable Thermal Control
• This buon controls the brightness of the flame effect with sengs at High, Medium and Low. When the
log set is first turned on, the flame will come on at the highest seng. Each me the Flame buon is
pressed, the brightness decreases. The only way to turn off the flame effect completely is to turn off the
Power switch.

CARE AND MAINTENACE
• Make sure the unit is turned OFF, unplugged and the heang elements of heater are cool whenever you are
cleaning the heater.
• Clean the metal trim using a water-dampened so, clean cloth. DO NOT use brass polish or household cleaners
as these products will damage the metal trim.
• The motors used on the fan and the flame generator assembly are pre-lubricated for extended bearing life and
require no further lubricaon. However, periodic cleaning/vacuuming of the fan/heater and air intake/output
vents is recommended.
• Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service representave.
• Pressing the Heater buon to turn on or turn off the heater, when

CARE AND MAINTENACE
Replacing the Remote Control Battery
When the remote control stops operang or its range seems reduced, it is me to replace the baeries.
Note: The baeries should be removed if the product is to be le unused for a long me.
Caution: Non-rechargeable baery is not to be recharged. Exhausted baery is to be removed from the
product.
1. The baery compartment is located on the back end of the remote control.
2. Press the small tab inward as you slide the baery door open and remove the old baery.
3. Insert a new CR2025 lithium baery (not included), ensuring the polaries of the baery match the inside of
the baery compartment.
4. Re-insert the baery door.
Note: When the heater is not in use, the heater should be stored in a dry locaon, away from possible
damage. The power cord should be stored properly to avoid contact with hot or sharp objects.
Disposal of Used Battery
A baery may contain hazardous substances that could be endangering to
environment and human health.
• This symbol marked on the baery and/or packaging indicates that used baery shall
not be treated as municipal waste. Instead it shall be le at the appropriate collecon
point for recycling.
• By ensuring the used baery is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potenal
negave consequences for the environment and human health. The recycling of
materials will help to conserve natural resources.
For more informaon about collecon and recycling of used baeries, please contact your local municipality, your
waste disposal service or the point of sale where you purchased this item.

TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE

PROKONIAN ELECTRIC FIREPLACE MODEL
Prokonian Inc. (hereinaer referred to collecvely as the (“company”) warrants that your new Prokonian Electric
Fireplace is free from manufacturing and materials defects for a period of one year from date of purchase. Subject
to following condions and limitaons.
1. The electric fireplace must be installed and operated at all mes in accordance with the installaon and
operang instrucon furnished with the product. Any unauthorized repair, alteraon, willful abuse, accident, or
misuse of the product shall nullify this warranty.
2. This warranty is non-transferable, and is made to the original owner, provided that the purchase was made
through an authorized supplier of the company.
3. The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of part(s) found to be defecve in material or
workmanship, provided that such part(s) have been subjected to normal condions of use and service, aer said
defect is confirmed by the company’s inspecon.
4. This warranty does not cover the LED light bar included with the Prokonian Electric Fireplace.
5. The Company may, at its discreon, fully discharge all obligaons with respect to this warranty by refunding the
wholesale price of the defecve part(s).
6. Any installaon, labor construcon, transportaon, or other related costs/expenses arising from defecve
part(s), repair, replacement, or Company assume responsibility for same.
7. The owner/user assumes all other risks. If any including the risk of any direct, indirect or consequenal loss or
damage arising out of the use. Or inability to use the product, except as provided by law.
8. All other warranes – expressed of implied – with respect to the product, its components and accessories, or
any obligaons / liabilies on the part of the Company are hereby expressly excluded.
9. The Company neither assumes, nor authorizes any third party to assume, on it behalf, any other liabilies with
respect to the sale of the Prokonian product.
10. The warranes as outlined within this document do not apply to non Prokonian accessories used in
conjuncon with the installaon of this product.
11. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other right which vary from state to state.
This warranty is void if:
a. The fireplace is subjected to prolonged periods of dampness or condensaon.
b. Any unauthorized alteraon, willful abuse, accident, or misuse of the product.
c. You do not have the original receipt of purchase.
