Owner's Manual
The transmitters included in the security system kit are pre-programmed at the
factory, with button # 1 assigned to channel one only. The suggested program
arrangement is listed below. To program channel 2 and 3, please follow the pro-
gramming instructions listed on pages two and three of this manual.

It is important to remember that during programming, each individual step of the
procedure must be executed within 15 seconds of the previous step. When the 15
second time limit is allowed to expire, the system will automatically exit program
mode. This is indicated by a long "chirp" from the siren.
Additionally, any time the ignition key is turned off while programming, the system
will immediately exit program mode. This is also indicated by a long "chirp" from
the siren.
PROGRAMMING TRANSMITTERS:
These factory programmed settings can be prioritized based on an individual's
frequency of use, (i.e. pressing both buttons simultaneously to activate channel 1,
arm/disarm etc.) by following the normal programming instructions below.
Please note when changing the button sequences of the factory settings, it is nec-
essary to perform steps 5, 9, and 12 three times using "transmitter A", followed by
one time using "transmitter B".
TO PROGRAM ADDITIONAL TRANSMITTERS:
1. Enter the vehicle, and turn the ignition key to the "on" position.
2. Move the valet/bypass switch on - off - on - off - on then off.
3. The dash L.E.D. will ash one time, and the siren will "chirp" one time, indi-
cating the system is ready to accept programming for channel 1, or the arm/
disarm and panic functions.
4. You can assign any of the three transmitter button functions listed below to
channel 1.
a) Pressing button #1 on the keychain transmitter.
b) Pressing button #2 on the keychain transmitter.
c) Pressing both buttons simultaneously on the keychain transmitter.
5. Press and hold the selected choice a, b, or c above, until the siren emits a long
"chirp" to conrm that programming of channel 1 was successful.
6. Move the valet/bypass switch on, then off again.
7. The dash mounted L. E. D. will ash 2 times, and the siren will "chirp" one
time, indicating that the system is ready to accept programming for channel 2,
or the pulsed ground output for remote trunk release, remote car starter, etc.
8. You can assign any one of the two remaining button functions listed in 4a, 4b,
or 4c above to operate channel 2. You cannot use the button(s) that operate
channel 1, selected in step 5, to operate channel 2.
9. Press and hold the selected choice. The siren will emit a long "chirp" to
conrm that programming of channel 2 was successful.
10. Move the valet/bypass switch on, then off again.
11. The dash mounted L.E.D. will ash 3 times, and the siren will "chirp" one time,
indicating that the system is ready to accept programming for channel 3.
12. Press and hold the remaining transmitter button function. The siren will emit a
long "chirp" to conrm that programming of channel 3 was successful.
13. To exit program mode, either turn the ignition key to the off position, or move
the valet switch on then off one additional time. This is indicated by a long
"chirp" from the siren.

QUICK REFERENCE:
After the desired channel is programmed, turn the ignition key to the off position to
exit programming mode.
You can program any individual channel, without reprogramming all channels, by
following the quick reference chart below.

The transmitter incorporates a small red L.E.D. built into the case. This L.E.D. can
be used to indicate battery condition. You will notice a decrease in transmitter
range as the battery condition deteriorates. To replace the battery...
1. Remove the transmitter cover by removing the small screw from the back of the
transmitter case.
2. Remove the discharged battery, making note of the orientation of the + and
- contacts, and dispose of properly.
3. Install the new (type GP23A) battery, taking care to orient the + and - contacts
properly.
4. Replace the transmitter cover, taking care not to damage the L.E.D. or switches
on the circuit board.

Fonctions Des Boutons De L'Émetteur
Les émetteurs compris dans le kit du système de sécurité sont programmés
d'avance en usine, le bouton n° 1 étant aecté uniquement au canal un. Les
options possibles de programmation sont indiquées dans le tableau suivant.
Pour programmer les canaux 2 et 3, veuillez suivre les instructions relatives à
la programmation fournies pages 2 et 3 du manuel.

Les réglages eectués en usine peuvent être séquencés en fonction de la fréquence de
leur utilisation (par exemple, appuyer sur les deux boutons simultanément pour activer
le canal 1, activation/désactivation, etc.) par une programmation normale suivant les
instructions ci-dessous. Remarque: Lorsqu'on change la séquence des boutons du
réglage en usine, il est nécessaire d'eectuer les opérations 5, 9 et 12 trois fois en utilisant
"l'émetteur A", puis une fois en utilisant "l'émetteur B".
PROGRAMMATION DES ÉMETTEURS
Pendant la programmation, il est important de se rappeler qu'il faut passer d'une étape
à l'autre de l'opération en laissant moins de 15 secondes s'écouler entre chaque étape.
Lorsqu'on laisse s'écouler un délai supérieur á 15 secondes, le système sort automa-
tiquement du mode programmation. Ceci est indiqué par un signal long de l'alarme.
En outre, chaque fois que l'on tourne la clé de contact sur "arrêt" pendant la program-
mation, le système sort immédiatement du mode programmation. Ceci est indiqué
également par un signal long de l'alarme.
PROGRAMMATION D'ÉMETTEURS SUPPLÉMENTAIRES
1. Entrer dans le véhicule et tourner la clé de contact pour la mettre sur "marche".
2. Déplacer le bouton utilité/dérivation successivement de "marche" sur "arrêt", sur
"marche", sur "arrêt", sur "marche", puis nalement sur "arrêt".
3. La DEL du tableau de bord clignote une fois puis l'alarme émet un seul signal, indi-
quant que le canal 1 du système est prêt à être programmé (activation/désactivation
et fonctions de signal de danger).
4. On peut aecter au canal 1 l'une ou l'autre des trois fonctions de bouton de l'émetteur
indiquées ci-dessous:
a) Appuyer sur le bouton n° 1 de l'émetteur porte-clé.
b) Appuyer sur le bouton n° 2 de l'émetteur port-clé.
c) Appuyer sur les deux boutons de l'émetteur porte-clé simultanément.
5. Appuyer sur les boutons des sélections a, b, ou c ci-dessus et les maintenir enfoncés
jusqu'à ce que l'alarme émette un signal long pour conrmer que la programmation
du canal 1 est réussie.

Après avoir terminé la programmation du canal en question, tourner la clé de contact sur
"arrêt" an de sortir du mode programmation.

que le système est prêt pour la programmation du canal 2 ou de la sortie de signal
pulsé pour télécommande d'ouverture de core, télécommande de démarreur, etc.
8. On peut aecter l'une ou l'autre des deux fonctions de bouton restantes indiquées à
l'étape 4a, 4b ou 4c ci-dessus pour utiliser le canal 2. On ne peut pas utiliser le ou les
boutons faisant fonctionner le canal 1, choisis à l'étape 5, pour programmer le canal 2.
9. Appuyer sur les boutons sélectionnés et les mainterir enfoncés. L'alarme émet un
signal long pour conrmer que la programmation du canal 2 est réussie.
10. Déplacer le bouton utilité/dérivation sur "marche" puis sur "arrêt".
11. La DEL du tableau de bord clignote trois fois et l'alarme émet un seul signal, indiquant
que le système est prêt pour la programmation du canal 3. (PS30i).
12. Appuyer sur le ou les boutons de l'émetteur pour la fonction restante et les maintenir
enfoncés. L'alarme émet un signal long pour conrmer que la programmation du
canal 3 est réussie.
13. Pour sortir du mode programmation, il sut de tourner la clé de contact sur "arrêt"
ou de déplacer le bouton utilité/dérivation de "marche" sur "arrêt" une fois de plus.
L'alarme émet un signal long de conrmation.
RÉFÉRENCE RAPIDE
On peut programmer tout canal individuellement, sans reprogrammer les autres canaux,
en suivant les opérations du tableau ci-dessous:

REMPLACEMENT DES PILES
L'émetteur comprend une petite DEL rouge incorporée dans le boîtier. Cette DEL peut
servir à indiquer la condition des piles de la batterie. On remarque une diminution de
la portée de l'émetteur lorsque les piles s'usent. Pour remplacer les piles, il faut:
1. Retirer le couvercle de l'émetteur après avoir enlevé la petite vis située au dos du
boîtier de l'émetteur.
2. Retirer les piles usées en notant la polarité des contacts + et -; disposer des piles de
façon réglementaire.
3. Mettre des piles neuves en place (type GP23A) en les orientant correctement suivant
la polarité + ou -.
4. Remettre le couvercle de l'émetteur en prenant soin de n'abîmer ni la DEL ni les
contacts de la carte de circuits.
