Charging the PowerUser Case Battery
You can charge the
PowerUser Case battery
by connecting the case
to your computer or
directly to a power source
usingthesuppliedUSB-A/
MiniBcable.
When you charge the
battery using your
computer, your iPhone
is automatically synced at
the same time. Insert the
cable into the bottom of
the PowerUser Case, then
plugtheUSBconnector
toaUSBportonyour
computer.Besureyour
computer is connected
to a power supply and
turned on.
TheblueLEDlightsonthebackofthecaseglowsteady
andaredLEDblinksasthebatterycharges.Whenitisfully
charged,theredLEDglowssteady.
TochargethebatteryusingaUSBpoweradapter(not
supplied), plug the pin connector into the PowerUser Case,
theUSBconnectorintotheadapter,andtheadapterinto
a power supply.
Note: The first time you
charge the battery, leave
it connected until it is
fullycharged(theredLED
light will be illuminated).
Thereafter, you can charge
the battery partially without
damaging it.
Caring for Your PowerUser Case
To keep your PowerUser Case in good working
condition and ensure maximum enjoyment, follow these
care guidelines:
• CleanthePowerUserCasewithasoft,dampcloth.Donot
use harsh soaps or chemical cleansers.
• GuardagainstexcessiveimpacttothePowerUserCase
caused by dropping, bumping, or crushing.
• KeepthePowerUserCaseawayfrommoistureandwater.
Ifthebuilt-inbatteryinthecasebecomeswet,donotuse
a hair dryer or other device to dry the battery.
• NeverleavethePowerUserCaseindirectsunlight.
• WhenstoringthePowerUserCaseforanextendedtime
period, charge the battery first for at least one hour, then
charge the battery every three months.
Q: How long will the battery in the PowerUser Case last?
A:DependingonhowyouuseyouriPhone,thePowerUser
Case gives you at least 5 additional hours talk time and up
to 270 hours standby time.
Q: Do I need to fully charge the PowerUser Case battery
every time?
A: No. The first time you charge the battery, make sure it
charges completely. After that, you can charge the battery
partially if you don’t have time for a full charge.
Q: How many times can I charge my PowerUser Case?
A:Theintegratedlithium-polymerbatteryisrechargeableup
to 500 cycles (a full charge equals one cycle).
Q: When using the PowerUser Case, which battery gets used
first, the one in the case or the iPhone internal battery?
A: The battery in the PowerUser Case is always used first.

Q: Does my iPhone automatically sync when I connect the
PowerUser Case to my computer to recharge the battery?
A: Yes, if your iTunes account is set up to automatically sync
whenever the phone is connected. If you don’t want
the phone to sync automatically, you can change your
preferences in iTunes.
