1. Introduction

This symbol on the device or the package indicates that
disposal of the device after its lifecycle could harm the
environment. Do not dispose of the unit (or batteries) as
unsorted municipal waste; it should be taken to a specialized
company for recycling. This device should be returned to

Never use a damaged voltage tester.
Do not touch the white tip.

6. Batteries
1. Open the battery compartment of the tester pen. To do so,
slightly press the back of the clip and pull to open the
compartment.
2. Insert two AAA batteries according to the polarity markings.
3. Close the battery compartment.
Warning: Do not puncture batteries or throw them in
fire as they may explode. Do not attempt to recharge
non-rechargeable batteries (alkaline). Dispose of
batteries in accordance with local regulations. Keep
batteries away from children.
7. Operation
Hold the white tip near the wire to test. The white tip will light and
buzz if the wire is live.

8. Cleaning and Maintenance
Occasionally wipe with a damp cloth to keep it looking new. Do not
use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong detergents.

1. Inleiding

Belangrijke milieu-informatie betreffende dit product
Dit symbool op het toestel of de verpakking geeft aan dat,
als het na zijn levenscyclus wordt weggeworpen, dit toestel
schade kan toebrengen aan het milieu. Gooi dit toestel (en
eventuele batterijen) niet bij het gewone huishoudelijke
afval; het moet bij een gespecialiseerd bedrijf terechtkomen
voor recyclage. U moet dit toestel naar uw verdeler of naar een
lokaal recyclagepunt brengen. Respecteer de plaatselijke

6. Batterijen
1. Open het batterijvak van het toestel. Druk lichtjes op de
achterkant van de clip en trek om het batterijvak te openen.
2. Plaats 2 AAA-batterijen volgens de aangegeven polariteit.
3. Sluit het batterijvak.
Waarschuwing: U mag batterijen nooit doorboren of in
het vuur gooien (explosiegevaar). Herlaad geen
alkalinebatterijen. Gooi batterijen weg volgens de
plaatselijke milieuwetgeving. Houd batterijen buiten het
bereik van kinderen.

7. Gebruik
Houd de witte punt tegen het snoer dat u wilt testen. De witte punt
licht op en de zoemer weerklinkt als er spanning aanwezig is.
8. Reiniging en onderhoud
Reinig het toestel af en toe met een vochtige doek. Gebruik geen
bijtende chemische producten, reinigingsmiddelen of sterke
detergenten.

6. Piles
1. Ouvrir le compartiment à piles de l'appareil. Presser légèrement
sur la partie arrière du clip et tirer pour ouvrir le compartiment.
2. Insérer deux piles AAA en respectant la polarité.
3. Fermer le compartiment à piles.
Avertissement : Ne jamais perforer les piles et ne pas
les jeter au feu (danger d’explosion). Ne jamais
recharger des piles alcalines. Se débarrasser des piles
en respectant la réglementation locale relative à la
protection de l’environnement. Garder les piles hors de
la portée des enfants.
