Operation

ALARM SYSTEM ARMING

Push the closing button of the default remote control. The activation will be

confirmed by the followings:

•Blinker flashing based on the closing features of the vehicle

•1 bee (if it is rogrammed)

•The LED on the dashboard switches ON

•Activation of electric engine immobilizer (if installed)

•The module out uts switch ON (ultrasonic sensor, hy erfrequence etc.)

•The CDL closes the doors

ALARM SYSTEM DISARMING

Push the o ening button of the default remote control. The deactivation will

be confirmed by the followings:

•2 bee (if it is rogrammed)

•The LED on the dashboard switches OFF

•Deactivation of electric engine immobilizer (if installed)

•The module out uts switch OFF (ultrasonic sensor, hy erfrequence

etc.)

•The CDL o ens the doors

•Blinker flashing based on the o ening features of the vehicle

Automati rearming

If you switched OFF the alarm with the default remote control of the vehicle, but the doors didn’t

o en, within 15 seconds the CDL closes back automaticaly the doors, and in the meantime the alarm

switches ON.

Warning! In those cars, in which there isn’t automatic CDL closing back function, ask the

installer, that program the automatic re-inhibition function of the alarm! If it is

programmed, the automatic re-inhibition function of the alarm will operate, but only the

alarm switches N, the CDL doesn’t close!

Inhibition time, status of alert

After you switched ON the alarm with the default (OEM) remote control, the alarm will stay for 20

seconds into “neutral time” condition, signalled by the fixed light of the LED. The flashing of the LED of

the dashboard will indicate that the system su ervises the vehicle and is ready to signal the alarms.

Alarm

In case of attem t to brake in, the system will emit an o tic-acoustic signal (flashing of the blinkers and

sound of the horn or of the siren, if installed, for 30 seconds, re eated.

To sto the alarm without disarming, ress the CLOSING button of the remote control

To sto the alarm and disarming, ress the OPENING button of the remote control.

Pani fa ility

After the inhibition time, if you ress the CLOSING button of the remote control, the alarm will trigger

till 30 seconds (bee /acoustic signal). Warning! You have to activate the panic function to

operate it. Ask the hel of the installer to the activation!

Alarm status

If armed alarm is disconnected from its connector, after the reconnection it stays in armed status,

rotected the car further.

Anti hi-ja k fun tion

The alarm can immobilize the engine while the engine is ON when somebody hijack the car. This

function is switch OFF defaulty. The switching ON of this function ha ens based on the request of the

client in writing.

To switch ON this function, lease contact with the installer.

Antiagression fun tion

The alarm can immobilize the engine while the engine is ON when somebody hijack the car together

with its own keys. This function is switch OFF defaulty. The switching ON of this function ha ens

based on the request of the client in writing.

To switch ON this function, lease contact with the installer!

Ex lusion of Siren

Through the ignition key it is ossible to exclude the function of the horn or the siren.

With disarmed alarm (CDL o ened), turn ON and OFF the ignition key for 3 times and, within 30

second, ress the original remote control to close the CDL of the vehicle.

By this time, the central unit will signal the attem t to break in by the flashing of the blinkers only.

Warning! The exclusion of the siren is valid for only one cause of trigger! If you switch OFF the alarm

with the remote control, the system will be restored automatically in the original state, and for the next

switching ON it will react with beep and acoustic signals for every cause

Memory of Alarm

If the central unit records one or more causes of alarm, they are signalled, when disarming, through the

LED. To verify the ty e of alarm, check the number of flashings of the LED with the table below.

Safety fun tion

Door protection Door, trunk and bonnet open sense

Anti hi-jack Block the engine, if somebody wants to steal the car for ignition key

with its own key

Ultrasoni / Hyperfrequen e ex lusion

This function is necessary, if you want to leave the dogs or cats in the car without the triggering of the

alarm. In the active state of the function, the other senses of the alarm o erate. After locking, during

inhibition time, ush the lock button of the remote control to switch on this function. The alarm signs

the exclusion of the ultrasonic / hy erfrequence sensors with one blinker flashing and 3 bee s signals.

PIN ode

The PIN code is for that the user can switch OFF the alarm, if the remote control or the alarm get

wrong or the battery discharged.

PIN code emergency switch OFF function of the alarm, de endent on alarm rogramming, has 3 ty es

o erating o ortunities, which are the followings:

1. PIN code emergency switch OFF with ignition key (it is the default setting of the alarm).

2. PIN code emergency switch OFF with usage of brake edal/hand brake (this function can be

used after rogramming of the alarm).

3. PIN code emergency switch OFF on ignition key ON, automaticaly (this function can be used

after rogramming of the alarm).

In all boxes of the alarms can be found an envelop, which contains a secret PIN code. nly

the user can open this envelop. All alarms have different PIN code! We suggest for the user

as for the perfect safety to change the original set PIN code for a new, own one. Please

follow the next instructions in the followings chapters.

If you have got any further problem in conncetion of the PIN code, please look for only your

importeur!

Usage of the PIN code is necessary, when the remote control lost, or the battery was flat, or the alarm

went wrong, but the device is switched ON status.

De endent on equi ment of the cars, it can be necessary to change the PIN code emergency switch

OFF o eration, for exam le in that case, if the vehicle is equi ed with “START & GO” system, by

this time we suggest to rogram the alarm for the 2. or 3. emergency switch OFF o erating mode

instead of the default setting of the PIN code emergency switch OFF function!

Only im orter of PATROLLINE and his contracted artners can do the rogramming of the alarm,

because s ecial software and hardware is necessary to it!

1. PIN code emergency switch FF with ignition key (it is the default setting of the alarm)

The code is a 3-figures number (from firm is: 1-2-3) and must be com osed with the ignition key of

the vehicle by following this rocedure:

With armed alarm, o en the driver side door with mechanical key. The alarm starts trigger, by this

time turn ON the ignition key, then turn OFF the ignition key as many time as the first digit of the PIN

code. During turn ON the ignition key the LED switches ON, after the first digit you have to wait to

switch OFF the LED.

After that immediately turn ON and OFF the ignition key as many time as er the second digit.

After the LED switch OFF, turn ON and OFF the ignition key as many time as er the third digit.

If the rocedure was successful, the alarm switches OFF. If the rocedure was unsuccessful, the alarm

stays in inhibition status, and triggers, by this time you have to restart the PIN code emergency switch

OFF rocedure from first digit giving of the PIN code.

2. PIN code emergency switch FF with usage of brake pedal/hand brake (this function can

be used after programming of the alarm)

With armed alarm, o en the driver side door with mechanical key. The alarm starts trigger, by this

time turn ON the ignition key, then ush/draw the brake edal/hand brake as many time as the first

digit of the PIN code (the brake edal/hand brake o erate with CAN-BUS signals not in every car

ty es, therefore they can’t be used for PIN code emergency switch OFF not in every cars!) During

ush/draw of the brake edal/hand brake the LED switches ON, after the first digit, you have to wait

to switch OFF the LED.

After that immediately you have to ush/draw the brake edal/hand brake as many time as the se-

cond digit.

After the LED switching OFF you have to ush/draw the brake edal/hand brake as many time as the

third digit.

If the rocedure was successful, the alarm switches OFF. If the rocedure was unsuccessful, the alarm

stays in inhibition status, and triggers, by this time you have to restart the PIN code emergency switch

OFF rocedure from first digit giving of the PIN code.

3. PIN code emergency switch FF on ignition key N, automaticaly (this function can be

used after programming of the alarm)

With armed alarm, o en the driver side door with mechanical key. The alarm starts trigger, by this

time turn ON the ignition key, then the trans onder identifies the default key, and through the CAN-

BUS network, the alarm switches OFF automaticaly.

WARNING! If the Antitheft / Antiagression function are programmed, before starting of the

procedure, push the secret button used to the Antitheft / Antiagression, and keep it pushed

until the procedure wasn’t finished!

Modifi ation of PIN ode

The modification of the PIN code is necessary if the client want to modify the default PIN code.

Warning! We suggest to the user to modify the default PIN code.

To modify the PIN code, do the following rocedure with the ignition key of the vehicle:

In disarmed alarm case, turn ON and OFF the ignition key as many time as er the first digit of the

PIN code. The LED switches ON when you turn ON the ignition key and after the first digit you have to

wait to switch OFF the LED. After then immediately turn ON and OFF the ignition key as many time as

er the second digit.

After the LED switch OFF, turn ON and OFF the ignition key as many time as er the third digit.

After that the LED flashes some times. Turn ON and OFF the ignition key as many time as er the first

digit of the PIN code while the LED flashes. The LED switches ON when you turn ON the ignition key

and after the first digit you have to wait to switch OFF the LED. After then immediately turn ON and

OFF the ignition key as many time as er the second digit.

After the LED switch OFF, turn ON and OFF the ignition key as many time as er the third digit.

If you succeed, the quick flashing of the LED on the dashboard confirms that the new secret code

has successfully substituted the old one.

If PIN code function of the alarm was rogrammed for brake edal/hand brake mode, you have to do

the above rocedure on same way, only you have to ush/draw the brake edal/hand brake instead of

turn ON/OFF the ignition key!

WARNING! If the Antitheft / Antiagression function are programmed, before starting of the

procedure, push the secret button used to the Antitheft / Antiagression, and keep it pushed

until the procedure wasn’t finished!

Valet fun tion

This function is, that during the service of the vehicle, the o erating functions of the alarm are

sus ension.

Usage of the valet function has, inde endently from rogramming of the alarm, 2 ty es o erating

o ortunities, which are the followings:

1. Valet function with anti hi-jack button.

2. Valet function with ignition key (it is the default setting of the alarm).

3. Valet function with usage of brake edal/hand brake (this function can be used after

rogramming of the alarm PIN code emergency switch OFF function)

1. Valet function usage with anti hi-jack button:

Activation of the valet function:

At disarmed alarm, sit into the car. All doors of

the vehicle have to be closed! Turn ON the

ignition key and immediately ush and kee

ushed anti hi-jack button of the alarm, what was

installed into the vehicle. After 10 seconds LED of

the alarm on the dashboard starts trigger and it

flashes till 5 seconds. Till the LED flashes, let off

the anti hi-jack button! By this time the LED

flashes twice slowly, signed arming of the valet

function. If you let off the anti hi-jack button too

early or too late, you have to start the rocedure

from starting!

Deactivation of the valet function:

At disarmed alarm, sit into the car. All doors of

the vehicle have to be closed! Turn ON the

ignition key and immediately ush and kee

ushed anti hi-jack button of the alarm, what

was installed into the vehicle. After 10 seconds

LED of the alarm on the dashboard starts trigger

and it flashes till 5 seconds. Till the LED flashes,

let off the anti hi-jack button! By this time the

LED flashes four times slowly, signed disarming

of the valet function. If you let off the anti hi-

jack button too early or too late, you have to

start the rocedure from starting!

To remind activated status of the valet function, the LED will flash continuously twice if you turn ON the

ignition key.

2. Usage of valet function with ignition key (it is the default setting of the alarm, this

function operates in that case too, if the PIN code emergency switch FF function is program

for 3. operating opportunity, the PIN code emergency switch FF on ignition key N,

automaticaly operation):

ignition key as any time as er the first digit of

the PIN code. The LED switches ON when you turn

ON the ignition key and after the first digit you

After the LED switch OFF, turn ON and OFF the

The LED flashes some times, signed the switching

ON of the valet function.

Turn ON and OFF the ignition key as any time as

er the first digit of the PIN code. The LED

switches ON when you turn ON the ignition key

and after the first digit you have to wait to switch

OFF the LED. After that immediately turn ON and

OFF the ignition key as many time as er the

second digit.

After the LED switch OFF, turn ON and OFF the

ignition key as many time as er the third digit.

After that the valet function will be in switched

OFF status.

To remind that the Valet function is active the LED on the dashboard will flash twice at any time one

turns on the ignition key.

3. Usage of valet function with brake pedal/hand brake (this function operates, if the PIN

code emergency switch FF function is program for the 2. operating opportunity, the PIN

code emergency switch FF with usage of brake pedal/hand brake operation):

Activation of the Valet function:

In disarmed alarm case, turn ON the ignition key,

and ush/draw the brake edal/hand brake as

many time as the first digit of the PIN code (the

brake edal/hand brake o erate with CAN-BUS si-

gnals not in every car ty es, therefore they can’t

be used for valet function not in every cars!) Du-

ring ush/draw of the brake edal/hand brake the

LED switches ON, after the first digit, you have to

wait to switch OFF the LED.

After that immediately you have to ush/draw the

brake edal/hand brake as many time as the se-

cond digit.

Deactivation of the Valet function:

Turn ON the ignition key, and ush/draw the

brake edal/hand brake as many time as the first

digit of the PIN code. During ush/draw of the

brake edal/hand brake the LED switches ON, af-

ter the first digit, you have to wait to switch OFF

the LED.

After that immediately you have to ush/draw the

brake edal/hand brake as many time as the se-

cond digit.

After the LED switching OFF you have to

ush/draw the brake edal/hand brake as many

time as the third digit. After that the valet

Operation of GSM PAGER

During using of HPS 841 GSM PAGER, you can ask, get message for your tele hone about the extant

triggerings, switched ON / OFF status of the alarm, o ened status of the vehicle CDL, or door, flat of

the vehicle battery with calling and/or SMS.

Warning signals for triggering

The system can warn the vehicle owner on 3 ways for triggering, (or the erson, whose tele hone

number is saved in the alarm):

1. The system warns with calling for triggering (maximum 3 clinks, or till 10 seconds). If the

called erson refuses the calling, the warning rocedure breaks, and the arrived calling

hasn’t any cost! The device acquits reaching into aim of the triggering warning with refusing

of the calling, so it doesn’t send SMS message.

2. If the called erson acce ts the calling, the system cuts off the tele hone line, and sends a

warning SMS, which contains the triggering cause too! Warning! In this case the warning

has calling and SMS sending cost!

3. If the called erson doesn’t acce t the calling (he doesn’t lift the receiver during maximum 3

clinks or 10 seconds time), the system cuts off the tele hone calling, and sends a warning

SMS, which contains the triggering cause too! Warning! In this case the warning has calling

and SMS sending cost!

Information about armed or disarmed status of the alarm

The system sends notice in SMS about armed or disarmed status of the alarm, if we ask it with the

SMS sent for the alarm. After sending we get re ly SMS immediately, which contains the information

about armed or disarmed status of the alarm.
