3.3Partreplacement.

When any part or component is tobereplaced, always ensurethatthe powercordis removed from thewall outlet.

3.4Whenthe10Afuseisblown duetothe

operation oftheshortswitch:

WARNING

When the10A 250V fuseis blownduetotheoperationoftheinterlock monitor switch, replaceall ofthe components

(primary latchswitch, shortswitchandpower relayB (RY1)).

1. This is mandatory. Refer to“adjustments andmeasurements”forthelocation oftheseswitches.

2. When replacingthefuse, confirm that it has the appropriateratingforthesemodels.

3. When replacingfaulty switches, besurethemounting tabsarenotbent, brokenor deficientintheir ability tohold

theswitches.

3.5Avoidinsertingnails,wireetc.through any

holesintheunitduringoperation.

Neverinsert awire, nailorany other metal objectthroughthelampholes on thecavity or any holesorgaps, because

suchobjects may work asanantennaand causemicrowaveleakage.

3.6Confirmafterrepair

4.2Measurementofmicrowaveoutput

Theoutputpower ofthemagnetroncanbedeterminedby performingIEC standardtest procedures. However, due to

thecomplexity of IECtestprocedures, it isrecommendedtotestthemagnetronusingthesimplemethodoutlined

below.

Necessary Equipment:

*1 literbeaker *Glass thermometer

*Wristwatchor stopwatch

NOTE:

Checkthelinevoltageunderload.Lowvoltagewilllowerthemagnetronoutput. Takethetemperaturereadings

andheatingtime asaccuratelyaspossible.

1. Fill thebeakerwithexactlyoneliter oftapwater.Stir thewaterusingthethermometer andrecordthewater’s

temperature. (recordedasT1).

2. Placethebeaker onthecenterofglass tray.

SettheovenforHighpower andheatit for exactly oneminute.

3. Stirthewater againandreadthetemperatureof thewater.(recordedas T2).

4. Thenormal temperatureriseatHighpower level for eachmodel, is as shownintable.
