INTRODUCING THE OZOGEN
Congratulations on your purchase of the OzoGen high output ozone generation system.
The OzoGen produces more ozone than any other system in its class making it one of the most effective
odor removal systems available. Please read these directions carefully and make sure you fully
understand how to operate the OzoGen system before using. This will ensure safe operation of the
OzoGen system and help you obtain the best results.
The OzoGen System is one of the easiest professional level ozone generation systems to operate and
requires no special training. However, OzoGen creates very high voltage and ozone is a powerful oxidizer,
so certain precautions should always be followed.
Never plug the OzoGen into a nongrounded outlet.
Never place the OzoGen in standing water.
Do not block the OzoGen intake fan. Make sure it is at least 6 inches away from walls or other
obstructions.
Make sure the area to be treated is uninhabited and do not enter the area during treatment.
Never operate an ozone generator where flammable fumes may be present.
Allow at least one hour for ozone to revert back to oxygen before entering the treatment area.
In extreme cases ozone has been known to degrade natural rubber products.

Before using the OzoGen, you should familiarize yourself with the controls and components.

USAGE
1. Prepare the area.
Close any windows in the treatment area and warn residents and others to not enter the room during
treatment.
Remove any plants or animals from the treatment area.
Set the OzoGen so that it cannot come into contact with standing water or any kind of moisture.
Elevating the OzoGen off the floor is recommended.
Make sure that the intake fan is at least 6 inches away from walls or other obstructions.
If using an HVAC system to help move ozone throughout the treatment area, position the OzoGen so that
the ozone output is close to and facing the cold air intake and set the controller to cool and not heat. Heat
will degrade the ozone making the treatment less effective.
Check that the illuminated on/off button is in the off (up) position.
Plug the OzoGen into a grounded outlet.
Do NOT operate the OzoGen with a nongrounded outlet;
never modify the cord to use a nongrounded outlet.

USAGE
2. Set the treatment time.
Once the OzoGen is plugged in, flip the rocker switch on the timer panel to "on".
The panel will illuminate, displaying treatment time and up and down toggle arrows.
Use the arrows to set the treatment time. Holding the arrow down for 2 seconds will cycle the time up or
down faster. Note: machine will not start generating ozone until the on/off button is depressed.
Once the time has been set, make sure the path out of the area is clear, depress the on/off button (it will
illuminate blue) and evacuate the area closing the door behind you.
Check the time and do not allow anyone to re-enter the treatment area until the treatment time plus one
hour has passed to allow the ozone to revert back into oxygen.
3. Post treatment ventilation.
Once the treatment time plus one hour has been reached, it is safe to re-enter the area.
It is normal for a residual odor of ozone to remain temporarily.
Immediately open the windows and doors to air out the area.
