2.1 Appropriate use
The pointer thermometer measures the temperature in transformers, shunt
reactors and similar devices. The product is intended exclusively for use in
large stationary plants and facilities of electrical power engineering. If used
as intended and in compliance with the requirements and conditions speci-
fied in this technical document as well as the warning notices contained in
this technical document and attached to the product, the product does not
pose risk of personal injury or damage to property or the environment. This
applies throughout the entire service life of the product, from delivery, instal-
lation and operation to removal and disposal.
Intended use refers to the following:
