warranty will become null and void if the product is found to have

First Time Use
Before use
Please connect the carabiner to the loop on the top of the speaker.
Connect the ‘micro USB combi cable’ to a USB charger/port and
fully charge the speaker before use.
While charging the battery the LED will light up red.
Once the battery is fully charged the LED will turn off.
The battery take 2-3 hours to fully charge. See Charging Instructions.
Bluetooth Operation
Pairing to a Device
Turn the speaker on at the switch at the base of the speaker.
“The bluetooth device is ready to pair.” will be heard and a blue
ashing LED can be seen by the micro USB port.
Scan for new devices on the device you want to pair with the speaker.
Look for ‘MAXTEK AUDIO’ in the device list and select it to pair.
The speaker will automatically pair with the device.
“The bluetooth device is paired successfully.” will be heard from the
speaker and the LED will turn to a constant blue light.
Once the device is paired the speaker will automatically pair on the
next use without having to scan for the speaker.

Bluetooth controls
You can use the buttons on the base to control the volume level, skip
tracks, play and pause.
Press button will allow you to play or pause your music.
Press the -button to skip backwards.
Press the +button to skip forwards.
Press and hold the - button to lower the volume.
Press and hold the + button to raise the volume.
You will hear a few beeps when you have reached maximum volume.
AUX Operation
Connecting to a Device
Turn the speaker on at the switch at the base of the speaker.
“The bluetooth device is ready to pair.” will be heard and a blue
ashing LED can be seen by the micro USB port.
Press and hold the button on the base of the speaker till you hear
“AUX input mode.” the LED will turn to green to show it is in AUX
mode.
Connect the micro USB combi cable to the port on the speaker and
the 3.5mm jack to a line out or headphone port of a device.
Once connected you can play audio from the device through the
speaker.
Only the volume control will be available in this mode on the speaker.
YOU CANNOT PLAY AUDIO THROUGH THE USB CONNECTOR.

Micro SD Operation
Micro SD & File Requirements
Make sure your micro SD card is no bigger than 8Gb and is in
FAT32 format.
Please make sure that all MP3 les used are DRM free and stored in
the root folder on the micro SD card..
Inserting & Removing the Micro SD Card
Once you have transferred your audio les to your micro SD card
insert it in to the micro SD card port till it clicks.
To remove the card, push the card in till a soft click can be heard and
release your nger. Let the card spring out a little then pull the card
out.
When the card has been removed you will hear “AUX input mode.”
as the speaker will return to AUX mode.

Micro SD Card Controls
Once a micro SD card is inserted in to the micro SD card port you
will hear “Music input mode.” and the rst audio le will begin to play
automatically.
Press button will allow you to play or pause your music.
Press the -button to skip backwards.
Press the +button to skip forwards.
Press and hold the - button to lower the volume.
Press and hold the + button to raise the volume.
Hands-Free Operation
Using the Hands-free Function
Once the speaker is connected to a mobile phone via bluetooth the
speaker will automatically use the hands-free function.
You can answer or end calls by pressing the button.
Press and hold the - button to lower the volume.
Press and hold the + button to raise the volume.

Charging Instructions
How to Charge the Speaker
Make sure the speaker is turned OFF before charging.
Plug the Micro SD Combi Cable in to the micro USB port on the
speaker and the other end in to a USB port/adaptor.
Leave to charge for 2-3 hours till the red LED light turns off.
Battery Care
To get the best out of the battery fully charge and use till at 5-6
times. Then use till at and fully charge at least once a month.
Prolonged storage without charge may cause damage to the battery
and result in poor to no charge. It is recommended you fully charge
the battery every 6 months for long term storage to keep the battery
in good condition.
